Why is the BBC currently running a poll to determine a footballer of the year solely from amongst Africans playing in the UK? Isn't this a little... ummm... racist? (Well, they play for Liverpool, which is nearly British.) There's no BBC American, or Australasian, or even European Footballer of the Year. There isn't even a fucking BBC Asian Footballer of the Year which surprises me,, although I suspect the BBC LGBTQIA Footballer of the Year award can't be far away.
