Iam currently playing tracks form my Mark Hollis back catalogue on vynil discs, called records.  They are big black round thing. No intention to sound rascist, it’s purely a description of a record disc for those under the age of 25.  I play these black discs on a record player that has an arm with a needle. Again Iam not intending to discuss or glamorise drug consumption, it’s just how a record player works.  The record spins round and the needle is placed n the disc and picks up the sound from the finely engraved grooves on the disc.

its a lovely sound and iam currently doing my ironing whilst listening to the Colour of Spring.  Beautiful piece of music.  I don’t know how to download a record disc on here as iam an old man in his 50s, so a complete waste to society, useless and digitally retarded. I live in the analogue world when I can.

The real challenge with music today is finding a fucking tape deck that still works. Found an old Sanyo DCX W17 getting sold for £5 a few months back at a car boot sale and after replacing the original record stylus and re soldering the volume slider connections it works like a treat apart from the tape decks where all of the rubber drive belts have congealed into a jelly like substance and can't be replaced because the squinty-eyed twats that made it thought it would be a good design choice to weld the motor mount directly above the tape mechanism. I refuse to buy my entire library of music again on CD because I've got about seventy fucking albums on cassette tape that I've been collecting since I was fourteen and I only buy the special stuff on vinyl, so these days I just nick the music from YouTube for free and use an MP3 player.

CD's were always over priced, easily scratched, awkwardly packaged shite to begin with. The quality might have been better, but only if you handled every single disk like it was a thin glass vial containing a concentrated version of the Ebola virus.

Wow a tape deck.  I think I might have one in the loft in a box.  I have collected albums for over 40 years and my first was Regatta de Blanc back in late 70s.  Didn’t buy any CDs just played records as have a decent deck and amp.  Then when digital download era came around, my lad introduced me to mp3 for playing music in the car.  Analogue on a good deck was and is far superior to a CD anyday.  Even Roops agrees with that as her hubby is a record man apparently.  She’s just a fucking cunt.  I bet she scratches his best collections when he’s out at work.

I doubt it. I'm sure he grabs himself the odd box of Viagra while he's requisitioning the 'extra morphine' for his elderly charges.

You meant to say, "grabs himself, BY the box," didn't you, eh!

That morphine is essential for my patients wellbeing, and the fact that I buy it wholesale from UK Livestock Meds Ltd is irrelevant.
