At the end of the day Dec's, at least your family didn't have to suffer the same experience as DWF's undoubtedly would have down at the PDSA on several occasions. Quite as to how one can yap, bark and whelp to get your message across to a veterinary midwife of any creed, only he would know. His birthing position wouldn't even be known within the NHS, and no amount of gas & air or even an epidural in a water-bath is of use when giving birth to a pack of pups in a cardboard box under the stairs.
