Well, if you look at it in a vacuum without taking anything into account other than the results after two terms, you might come to the conclusion that he didn't accomplish much, by his own fault.

OTOH, if you look at what actually went on for those eight years, meaning the way the conservative Republicans in Congress obstructed and stymied everything he tried to accomplish, you might get a more balanced view.

Here are a couple of quotes made by the two top Republican leaders in Congress at the time. One now retired from politics, the other still in his position...

John Boehner, former Speaker of the House of Representatives, offering his plans for Obama’s agenda: “We're going to do everything — and I mean everything we can do — to kill it, stop it, slow it down, whatever we can.”

Senate Minority (now majority) Leader Mitch McConnell summed up his plan to National Journal: “The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president.”

The funniest thing about it, is how the Republicans are now pissing their knickers over the way the Democrats are basically force feeding them heaping doses of their own medicine.

The Republicans, who investigated the Clintons for decades, are now crying like babies over the two year Mueller investigation of Trump, who everybody knows damned good and well is a criminal, a thug, a pervert and very possibly a rapist, including at least one underage girl.

Personally, I'm just getting sick of both sides. I'm hoping there remains enough voters in the sane, common sense middle, to take power back from these right and left wing extremist goofballs.
