What the fuck is this nursery school shit, Fender? A fucking ball peen hammer?! Mallets?! Can't even see the one in the middle under the note, but I hope, for the preservation of your reputation, its a claw hammer with at least a bit of scalp clinging to it...

These are just some i had around the house, the claw hammers and sledgehammer are at work and in the shed. The knife is razor sharp.

As are some of my kitchen knives. Your collection can be found in millions of tool sheds around the country, so what is this, a celebration of being average?

I'm disappointed with the knives. The top one is a bizarre combination of a stamped, clip-point Bowie blade, with an awful non indexable handle, finished with gaudy, cheap die-cast guard and pommel.

The smaller knife is a 'Franklin Mint' folder from the Native American series, and serves no purpose other than ornamental.

@Jake The Muss. Get rid of those ornaments. I can hook you up with a Fairbairn Sykes and a Buck 110.

This is just a few things around the house Eric, the bigger hardware such as tanks and artillery guns and a couple of rare swords are at an undisclosed location.

Once again, your moderation skills are formidable.

I guess you're above average in your own mind.

The top knife is Spanish and it's very well made, i have had that one for many years, the red tint is blood that i couldn't clean off.

Nice fixed blade clip point hunter, Fends!

Are you fucking mental? That's a bit of Turkish, mild steel tourist shop crap.

I'm starting a 'weapon awareness' class. You and fender are mandatorily enrolled!

It's bloody well not. It's copper base layer for the chrome plate, which you accidentally exposed while you were going at it with wire wool. It's a fucking tent peg!

It's crap. It's got cast furniture Fends. I collect this shit, I've got Himalayan Damascus, going up to hand forged Malay Parang's.

that is tourist trap, wall-hanger quality.

I don't mean to patronise or offend you. But I fear your expertise to be more, 'hammer based'.

Good. Blunt force is always more effective than a narrow and piercing point of impact, unless the wielder is pathetically weak and sickly and the victim is pathetic enough to stand around and let a piddling little thing like blood loss or punctured vitals finish them off without using their last moments to gouge their enemy's eyes out, leaving them to suffer a far worse fate than death.

I'm not offended Eric, you appear more of a knife man than me, goes without saying, i prefer hammer time.

Concur with both statements Jake.

I can keep my Admin/mod role separate from the rough and tumble of normal forum discourse, its a shame that you can't.

Poor Fends, its took you nearly forty-eights hours to think of a riposte. The sad part is that your misconstruction wasn't deliberate..

Its no good being obtuse Fends, deliberate or otherwise...

On a more positive note its good to see the Omega-3 supplements are starting to work, you've more than halved the response time, so well done you.
