Klingon weddings

Just how purposefully eccentric and determined to be different do you have to be? A couple have come to this country from Sweden to wed in what is believed to be this countries first ever marriage ceremony. I have a sneaking suspicion that the costumes might be an improvement on their ordinary appearance. Anyway...... this fucking debacle was conducted by a celebrant at a Star Trek convention. The celebrant, Peter Wyllie, conducted the wedding ceremony and used some Klingon phrases during the ceremony (this is almost beyond belief), Mr Wyllie went on to say "We spent a bit of time with a couple of guys (notice the casual "hipster " language) who were professional Klingons and they checked it through with me but after that it was just hope really," Mr Wyllie said, adding that it sounded similar to the Welsh language. Oh dear.
