Thousands fly to the UK for treatment and leave without paying... and the NHS is powerless to act. A leading health surgeon described the NHS as the "world's maternity wing". Also thousands travel to the UK for cancer, HIV and infertility treatment. Its simple if you don't have a medical/NHS card you don't get treated. If a foreign person gets taken ill/its an emergency then they need to pay after or take out insurance before hand.
