Pedestrians trying to cross downstream experience fewer gaps in traffic as a side effect. Most buildouts have caused accidents damage to vehicles. How the fuck anyone thinks placing an artificial concrete hazard in the roadway improves safety is beyond me. Whoever you are, traffic calming bloke, you're an arch cunt.
