In the interests of decency and in an effort not to display misogyny, I've headed this with a picture of a generic tit. So, now there are girls under the age of 10 receiving breast augmentation, if their GP deems them to have psychological difficulties because of their size...erm, what? They're fucking 10 years old, what the fuck are you thinking? Over 250 of them have been under 16 in recent years and the NHS is funding this? Now, I can understand that there may be some physical problem that may need rectified in some cases, but do 10 year olds (and younger in a few cases) really even care about what size their chest is? Having daughters myself, I can quite categorically say a resounding no, not at that age, don't be fucking stupid and I would imagine it could even be hazardous at that age. Is this another incidence of parents striving to have perfect children? Surely kids this age haven't the self-awareness or sentience to discover that they're not as 'perfect' as their older peers who have already grown up, they're more interested in Nintendo in my experience. Everything about putting juveniles under the knife for this procedure seems wholly wrong to me. Hilariously the medical body who pushed a spokesman in front of a reporter for this 'practice' is the very wittily acronymed British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. Cunts.
