Two or three self-interested groups shouting at each other in a fancy building, all claiming to know what the British public wants, (none of them asking us though): it's the same now as it was in the 60s, 70s, 80s etc etc and I was there for all those eras, so I saw it. Nothing changes: the self-interest of politicians is a constant factor. Bollocks to you, politicians. You care only about yourselves. Screw the lot of you.
