Once upon a times these actually meant something.Levis were made in american factories by Levi's, a gollywog on a jar meant jam made by Robertsons, Meccano was made in scousland by Meccano etc, etc these days though they are meaningless and tellyou nothing about the product or of where it is made or by whom. Its time to throw this nonsense in the bin and require that it REALLy means something.
