Guest Lady Penelope
I am a type 2 diabetic. I have for a long time been close to "insulin levels" however I have fought it off. Some fairly recent changes in my lifestyle (ie what I eat) has now reduced my needs for medication by 50%. A lot of other type 2 diabetics that I know though choose to continue to have the large ammounts of sugary food and to deal with the efect by the use of insulin .. the cost of this insulin is around £35 a shot (up to £140 per day!). To me this choice is an abuse of the NHS and time should be called on these cunts. (no its not neccessarily the fatties) it is the fat and thin cunts who insist on scoffing the chocolate and cakes down in quantities that bodies cannot process. What is needed when you are diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes is a real life test to find out what you are doing and for the choices to then be explained to you and for it to be also a rule that if you do not cooperate and fail to make the often perfectly possible changes that you will face the consequences rather than be moved on to highly expensive treatments that you do not need. Guest nobgobbler
Hats off to you Pen. Mr Gobbler's not fat so he was shocked to find out his was type 2. Not wanting to go on to meds he created his own diet based on protein and greens and aggressive exercise. His levels plummeted to well within the normal range in only a few weeks. He still cycle sprints daily and enters events. He's fit as a fiddle, except he's fallen off 5 times in the last 12 months, which has put him in A&E twice with broken ribs etc, so he's still an NHS user. And I always have to go and find the useless cunt and pile him and his push-rod in my car. PM me if his diet is of interest to you.

The same can be said for smokers, heavy drinkers, fattys and other cunts who expect to be looked after by the state rather than take responsibility for themselves. All the help should be given to them to take positive action but they refuse or don't help themselves then tough shit, no free health care

Guest
90% of what I see come through hospital doors could be avoided with a change of diet and some exercise. Nobodies gonna tell the patients that though, god no, it's an 'infringement on their human rights' doncha know and might 'offend' them. They might mark you down in one of the endless fucking surveys and questionnaires they are given about the service they receive. The NHS has turned into a glorified hotel for most people, with a menu of treatments they can pick and choose what they fancy this week. I fucking hate people. nocti
Or cunts who "accidentally" fall on broom handles arse first. That's just fucking careless. "Honestly doc, I know it looks weird, but I was just vacuuming some digestive biscuit crumbs off my shaft and hey presto, my whole cock gets sucked into it, right up to the conkers. In my horror at what just happened, I stumble back on the bristles of the broom and the handle goes right up my nipsy! The bra and pants? Well I just got back from a fancy dress party..." My friend works in A&E and whenever I see her I try to bleed as many stories out of her as possible, and she's always got plenty. It's fucking brilliant.

I'll have whatever she's having, with chips on the side. And 20 Embassy please. I know this will be little consolation, but I have the odd sherry or two, smoke sociably and enjoy the occasional pastry. But if it causes any adverse health in the future, I will not burden the NHS, as I will immediately commit seppuku. Only jesting, I have always had private health care. But I'm fit as fuck anyway, well fitter than most of the elastic waisted slacks wearing lot on here. That's all I have to say about that. Funny thing was the switch was in the on position so his arse was glowing.

I was a nurse specialising in diabetes for years in a medical centre and the DM2's who really got my annoyance up were the ones who were non compliant with their meds and the ones who refused to call in for their annual check up. I told them straight up that if they didn't have regular check-ups they could lose their legs or go blind or both. This had little effect. What these and the ones you talk about don't understand is the greater cost in treating ailmenst secondary to non compliance. Btw: without sounding like a matron, well done x

When I was nursing, it was 'take it on the chin or fuck off'. If somebody was overweight you told them "You're too fat, you need to lose weight". Now days if a medical professional said that they would be for the high jump. Its bollocks.

Where the fuck are you getting your 'facts', the Daily Mail? Novorapid three times a day with Lantus at night is the Rolls Royce regime for insulin dependent diabetics. Five 3ml penfills of Novorapid, which typically lasts most diabetics about a month costs the NHS under £30. The Lantus is only a tad more expensive. So... about £70 and month, not twice that a fucking day. Most Type II diabetics are fat cunts. Just swap their insulin for cyanide.

White Cunt
If the fat/drunk/stoned etc. cunts were charged for treatment US style, it would quickly eradicate the problem. The public system we have is wonderful, but so abused by those fucking cunts. If the bastards don't follow advice, we should stop treating them for free. Or better still - gas them. Future fuck ups prevented.
