Germany have stated that if Russia doesn't co operate with an investigation, they may start working on sanctions, and have started to talk about the possibility of shutting down the Nord stream 2 pipeline project (although I would be very surprised if that did happen since they have already invested billions in it). If I had to wager, I'd say this was a CIA operation. You only have to look at who's to gain and whose to loose in this situation. The completion of the Nordstream pipeline will be bringing bargain priced gas to Western Europe, so why would the Kremlin risk fucking it all up? We all know the American economy is tanking right now, and one thing they do have in abundance is shale gas. The CIA is a law to its self and has regularly overstepped the mark.
