I'm generally irritated by my fellow humans if I spend too much time in their company. That's because I am an introvert and a bit of a pessimist. However,there genuinely are people who do get miserable and depressed if they can't hang out with their family and friends, and these healthy and well adjusted people have been knocked by the isolating effects of lockdown. I don't 100% understand them, but I do feel a bit sorry for them, because I can see that they are truly pining for their social group/ extended family like exotic plants wilting due to lack of sunlight.
