Mr Hall committed the crime 26 years ago when he was 23 years of age and has thus spent more than half his life in prison being well fed and looked after and living a life of comparative leisure. I cannot see any reason why the time between sentencing and being executed should be drawn out for more than a few months whilst legal niceties are argued about.
