Normally all decadent Western rock music is banned in the People's Republic of North Korea.  However, to celebrate the mass volunteering of many North Korean orphans to go and collect anthracite from a deep pit, Kim the Wrong Un  has generously decreed that from the speakers of every public announcement system , apparatchik deejays can now play the Guns N Roses classic "Sweet Child Down A Mine".

All those grinning, gurning twats surrounding him must be shitting themselves. One word from the chubby, four eyed little cunt and they're toast.

I sent a letter to my North Korean penpal and asked him how his life was.

He replied "I can't complain".

There was a similar system of volunteering students with Enver Hoxna in Albania where they were used to build roads, railways and hospitals and work for free in the tractor factory. No different than the black volunteers from Africa who helped out in America's cotton fields. They even sang with joy as they laboured.

Work sets you free.

In North Korea we guarantee our citizens the freedom of speech

But we do not guarantee their personal safety after their speech.

Has there ever been a communist-run country that hasn't had to use its army to keep its citizens from running away?

Maybe Cuba.  If your expectations are low, I understand it can be quite an enjoyable place to live.
