Commonwealth Games: failure to launch.   We have generously bankrupted two of our major cities who I'm sure had better things to spend their money on than appeasing good old Lizzie with this secondrate muscle jamboree, Glasgow and Birmingham.   It was Australia's turn.  None of their states wanted to do it.   Even fucking Charles realised he couldn't go abegging to another British city.   Not in these financial times.  None of the black nations have offered.   Yep Siree it's ALL OVER.   The Common Games that nobody gave a fuck about in the first place.

I just worked it out. Richard White was the owner of DSMO and possibly a former member here. He was the one involved in the Mardy Bear incident that got it taken down. I knew I recognised that name.

@Frank didn't turn up because he had to take his boat in for repairs. He had to go to Halfords for the puncture repair kit.

My favourite was the RAF Tornado, what a Jet (made me want to become Fighter Pilot). They carried cluster bombs and wiped out the the Iraqi Air Forces runways and gained air supremacy. I also remember those two Pilots getting captured... What a war. It's now fucking drones and bombs in pagers. 

Bring back Swords, Knights, Axe's and Cavalry charges I say.

The Harrier Jump Jet was an asset we shouldn’t have dropped. They could have updated and improved but politics and money men made the decision to explore other avenues and build other shit with cheap imported chinky tech crap.

 Most of the Harriers we decommissioned are now in service somewhere in the Middle East. Which despite their age, still gives some bunch of Durka-Durka cunts an aerial advantage over our planes in some situations.
