All you need to know about Malala is that she pissed the Taliban off by defending the right of girls to go to school in her local area of Pakistan, so they decided to silence her voice by murdering her as an example to others who dare to speak out. They didn't succeed and as a result she now has the ears of the world. They lost, she won, it backfired.
Wearing a headscarf is not inconsistent with rejecting the Taliban, she's still a Muslim and chooses to do so.

I asked Deebom two perfectly reasonable questions, how do you know Stroppy Woman is Nigerian and how do you know Begging Girl is Vietnamese? I could have gone on to ask why their racial origins are relevant, but I assumed it was self-evident that it was in part the reason I asked. So far I haven't got an answer, just indignation that I should dare to ask. Come to think of it I could also ask why the assumption that the bloke being an arshole was the girl's pimp, which presumably implies that she is a prostitute.

So I continue to queue, thinking to myself "It wont be too long now." When some cunt comes pushing two trolleys past us all, bearing in mind that there is fuck all room down the isle due to cunts queuing. I think to myself "She wont get through down there, there's too many people queuing." So I keep a half interested eye on her in the mild hope that will be some minor trolley rage to liven up this queuing malarkey. She pushes her way right up to the checkout and inserts herself in front of a little old lady with 2 or 3 things in a basket. Little old lady tuts and shakes her head, no one else says a fucking word, I'm in no mood for getting into rucks with stroppy Nigerian women, I just want to get the fuck out of there, so I don't interject.
And then to top it all off, the usual Vietnamese begging girl is sitting outside, crying her fucking eyes out, wailing like she's lost a family member or something. Her Vietnamese pimp or whatever the fuck he is, is shouting at her and laughing, obviously being an utter cunt and enjoying her distress. I felt like kicking the shit out him, but just loaded my shopping into the car and fucked off.
I fucking hate Aldi customers.

It's not just Liverpudlians though is it, there's something in our psyche that likes a bit of "national grief". Think back to when Diana died, sad yes, but the weeping and wailing from people who had never met her was OTT surely. I actually had gigs cancelled at short notice because apparently people were too upset to go out and listen to music.

Regarding the "right sense of humour for this site" stuff, this is relevant to the treatment of new members. Yes I agree that anyone joining a forum called cuntscorner shouldn't expect posts about how to arrange pretty flowers, but that doesn't mean they should be subjected to a torrent of abuse from the start. What you're really saying is that they don't fit in with your clique.

Your stance is inconsistent, one minute you complain that moderation is draconian, the next you complain about people being allowed back. You have pushed it and then some in the last couple of days, but you're still here. Decimus is still here if he wants to be, but for a little while at least we're going to have a look at what he intends to post first. Unless it's particularly unreasonable or offensive the post will be approved.
What I see going on at the moment is an attempt to play divide and rule with the moderating team and it's not going to work.
