Actually, contrary to popular belief, I hate wasting a punter.
  2. Ah, DeviantArt, I appear on there in some very tasteful B&W, fetish and composite studies. Just sayin'.

The Council of Europe is a separate entity to the EU and is not affected by Brexit. The site's tag line, whilst it may attract attention, shouldn't cause us any problems with the authorities. What is problematic is the nonsense that some punters post.
  4. It was very real and the fact the new millennium came and went without too much incident was a testament to the work that was carried out. Plenty of software developers had to send out patch discs and CD rom's to correct the fault. As for the fraudulent claims of climate change, we'll just have to mark that down as a gigantic hoax perpetuated by 99% of the scientific community. After all, they've convinced us that the earth is not flat.
  5. Yeah, graphic bathroom bits appeared on porn sites, which you guys, being fully paid members of the moral majority club, never visit . BTW, not so "freely" these days as they are all behind a paywall. I keep meaning to pop over and see who's paid...

Well, they are, sort of. Some are driven by the usual SJW merchants, some are semi official* I think the govt recently announced that they're setting up a hate crime monitoring unit with the aim of pursuing prosecutions. * About a year ago, The CC management was alarmed to see The Corner appear on the front page of a quasi-official Hate Site Reporting facility funded by the Council of Europe. Fortunately the item migrated to and was lost amidst countless other listings on the back pages.
  7. Gosh that's a first. We've had issues with multi-ID's but a multi-user ID? - We've never had that before!
  8. Now, now boys. You both know that you were pussy-whipped and schooled by me on every occasion. Not only are you as bad as each other, both of you also a bit creepy.
  9. This the sad part. The MCAS can be cancelled by the pilot manually inputting counter instructions on the autotrim. The suggestion is that this was not understood by pilots. Whether this was due to poor dissemination of air worthiness directives or poor pilot training has yet to be determined. Boeing has said that since the Lion Air disaster they've been working on a software patch which identifies faulty data to the MCAS and that the rollout should be completed by May.
  10. I'm sure you have heard of flight stalling. This where due to low airspeed (for whatever reason) there is not sufficient lift generated and the aeroplane simply falls out of the sky. Aircraft have devices to warn the pilot that a stall is imminent and pilots usually correct the danger by increasing airspeed or by lowering the nose which places the wings in more efficient angle of attack position to gain greater lift and so avoid the stall. Increasingly modern aircraft not only warn the pilot but also take control from the pilot to correct the situation. The problem occurs when the aircraft's computer receives faulty data and takes action to correct a problem that does not exist.

I haven't suggested in any way that "we" should have change our own culture and preferences, indeed we should celebrate it. In fact "Britishness" has proven to be an effective marketing tool abroad.
  12. These days aircraft falling out of the sky is in fact very, very rare. As for the Ethiopian crash, there is strong possibility that the aeroplane's Manoeuvring Characteristics Augmentation System (MCAS) forced the 737 downwards based on data received from a faulty Angle of Attack sensor vane. The device is used to warn and prevent stalling. The 737 has two of these vanes but only one feeds data to the MCAS. This is different to Airbus which has a three sensor "voting" system on its aeroplanes.

How do you know that any of this is true? The truth of the matter is that whatever ideology is in Begum's head, it was made in Britain. The UK has abrogated its responsibilities by illegally making the girl stateless and has exported the problem to elsewhere. Remember, ISIS initially was successful by filling in a power vacuum caused by the (again) illegal second Iraqi war after much colluding and deliberately promulgating misinformation about that country's WMD capabilities. Now it appears we do not wish to clear up the mess.
  14. I don't like to prejudge but the 737 Max appears to have succumbed to unintended consequences of automated safety systems.
  15. Most Mazda 2's are based on the Ford Fiesta platform, though I'm not sure about the latest generation. I have a high regard for Mazda's now that they have their own full in-house development team. The latest Mazda's namely the 6, 3, and CX5 are impressive. Most Protons aside from the odd Citroen and Volvo rebadging jobs are re-skinned Mitsubishi Lancers.
  16. You're such a cynic Eric. I'm sure I've mentioned this before, but I had twins (planned) and then just a year later a third child (unplanned).
  17. I still had my works car, a Saab 900 followed by the 93 - I loved those cars. They were fairly idiosyncratic and left field compared to the mainstream but I became disillusioned driving re-skinned Vectras and moved over to Audi's, a marque I've stayed with apart from the mental aberration I had when I drove a Merc for 12 months.
  18. When one has three toddlers then practicalities override other considerations. At the time, the Espace, whilst the more aesthetically pleasing, was too small for our purposes. The C8/Peugeot 806 won us over against the Ford Galaxy due to the sliding rear doors which made securing the Rooplets a doddle whilst parked in a confined parking space.
  19. We had a C8 and it was an excellent family carrier especially for school runs etc.

FGM occurs within tribal lines and is practised by both Christians and muslims. Islam has nothing to do with it. Absolutely. This is mob hysteria fuelled by ignorance - even university educated Home Secretaries are not immune. The irony here is that many punters waving their pitchforks have themselves alluded to third world ignorance when giving forth their tuppence worth. Disgraceful hypocrisy.
  21. Jeeze, I'm not that predictable, surely?
  22. Let's not forget that on new year's eve last you spent the entire evening right through to the early hours of new year's day moping about on The Corner. I would suggest your now permanent state of onanism is that you do not measure up in all respects.
  23. OK, it appears you haven't learned any lessons so you're off the site indefinitely. You also appear to be immature - on a site called "Cunts' Corner" of all places. Cya
  24. I would say the paedo Prince of Pop's legacy was irrevocably besmirched when he paid $25 million to settle a lawsuit bought by a boy who accused Jackson of molesting him in 1993.
