  1. As I said, never underestimate Jeremy Corbyn.
  2. I voted Labour, so no surprise I suppose. The other parties were an irrelevance, it was down to whether or not you wanted The Maybot with a big unassailable majority, the only reason she called this election. It was nothing to do with Brexit negotiations, the Tory lead in the polls was irresistible.
  3. If you watched the Tommy Robinson videos you should at least watch this too. He's a comedian so it starts off with a few jokes, but what he says is reality.
  4. Yes, all such things are wrong and shouldn't be allowed here.
  5. You don't have an alternative that would rid this country of it's ongoing threat. You have a rant. Muslims are not our enemy, Islamist extremists are.
  6. I have no problem with that. Religious intolerance I don't agree with, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't challenge religious beliefs where we feel they are wrong, whether that is Muslims discriminating against women or fundamentalist Christians discriminating against gay people. FGM and what went on in Rotherham are not in any way acceptable in the UK and there is no justification for allowing them. Respect for religions should not equate to making any religion above the law and it seems that in these cases it was allowed to.
  7. I would suggest that The Maybot is thinking about what will appeal to the Daily Mail and Sun readers ahead of the election.
  8. Yeah that will work wont it? You are using these tragic events to wallow in your own prejudice and indulge in pointless unhelpful and counterproductive rants to wind yourself and others up. What if they were crack dens? Well you would have to show that they were selling crack. "I'd wager the Mushies were whooping and punching the air behind the closed doors and the sanctuary of 99% of all Mosques throughout England." Seriously are you out of your mind, I mean do you really believe this stuff? These events are bad news for ordinary Muslims, it's highly likely that hate crimes will increase in the coming days and weeks. Regarding the Burka I'll be honest I don't like it at all. What is sad is that this really didn't exist in this country until a few years ago and I wonder and worry about what forces are causing Muslim women to wear this wretched thing now.
  9. I'm not sure I understand what you mean by showing sympathy, presumably you actually mean showing empathy, with but if you are including terrorists in that you are very much wrong and I resent the implication.
  10. The onus in a British Court of Law is for the prosecution to prove guilt, not for the defendant to prove innocence. If you think you could make a charge of conspiracy stick because someone attended a Mosque therefore they must have been conspiring to bomb people feel free to knock yourself out. Let's go with your "solution" to close all Mosques. Do you think the people who once attended them will simply stop meeting up? No of course they wont, except you wont know where they are meeting now, but you will know that they now have a grievance because you closed their Mosque down for no good reason. A number of regimes around the world have tried to oppress religions and it has never worked in the long term.
  11. In what way does the childish act of scribbling Muslim Cowards on Thornaby Mosque help anything? There is no suggestion that this Mosque has been in any way promoting Islamist extremism. Time for these kind of idiots to grow up and realise that they are part of the problem, not part of the solution.
  12. Did it stop terrorism? No it didn't. Dragging people off the streets and sending them to a concentration camp to be tortured without a trial didn't work, it just fuelled hatred of The West.
  13. We all know that Justin Beiber is crap, but it's not really relevant to this. I expect I'll come to regret posting this here, but I'm going to anyway. Ariana Grande's version of Over The Rainbow was breathtaking, if you aren't touched by this you aint got no soul, and I don't normally like this kind of stuff. http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/see-ariana-grandes-emotional-somewhere-over-the-rainbow-w485756
  14. A cracking idea, Guantanamo Bay is the biggest recruiting agent for Islamist terrorists.
  15. It's not about scaring them Pen, you can't scare people who are prepared to die for their ideology. What tonight was about was defiance, showing them that we aren't scared of them. Innocent kids were murdered, but the crowd turned up anyway. The terrorists failed.
  16. I'm not making a habit of it, but you can have a like for that.
  17. I've been dipping in and out of the Manchester One Love concert. It probably wont surprise you that a lot of it is not really my kind of music. What is impressive and encouraging at a pretty depressing time is that here is a huge crowd of predominantly young people giving a massage of defiance to these terrorists. They are not frightened, they are not consumed by anger or bitterness and they are sending a message that these people can't divide us and can shove it. Which do you think pisses the terrorists off more, that or rants about internment and targeting the Muslim community as a whole? Doubtless in the coming days there will be attacks on individual Muslims and bricks going through the windows of Mosques etc. Do you think the likes of ISIS give a shit about this? They don't worry about injuring or killing us because we are infidels. What you need to know is that they don't give a shit about ordinary Muslims either, because in their twisted ideology if Muslims don't support their ideology and their ridiculous caliphate they are infidels too.
  18. Yes we continue talking with the Muslim community, it's more important than ever that we do. Keeping a closer eye on what goes on in Mosques is something we should have done 10-20 years ago when there is no doubt that there were a few firebrand Imams touring the Mosques deliberately winding up young Muslims to commit acts of violence. Now they are increasingly irrelevant as far as radicalisation is concerned. In fact a number of Mosques have set up anti-radicalisation programs, which given that Prevent doesn't seem to be working very well is to be welcomed. The real problem now is the internet and social media.

    The Beetles

They were in fact called The Silver Beetles for a while in the early days.
  20. If you must post this bollox perhaps you would be kind enough to post it just the once.
  21. Who knows what will happen, but there is a bit of panic for sure. It really wasn't supposed to end up this close. May called the election, having repeatedly said she wouldn't, for one reason and one reason only which was nothing to do with Brexit negotiations. The opinion polls were irresistible, five years of a gigantic Tory majority and the virtual disintegration of The Labour party were looking highly likely. Never underestimate Jeremy Corbyn, he was 200-1 to win the Labour leadership contest.
  22. What does that mean though? I've never said it's going to be easy, Northern Ireland wasn't easy, but you have to keep the good people in any conflict on the side of peace. You can't negotiate with the likes of ISIS, what they want can't be allowed to happen, but it's vital to talk to the Muslim community as a whole otherwise you fuel the idea that it's us against them and that will lead to more ammunition for those who want to create terrorists.

    The Beetles

True enough, but better that surely than being catapulted into fame by some dreadful TV talent show.
