My main complaint with the series is that every single emotion is pulverised into a sugary heap of shit - however much Del acts like a prick and treats Rodney like shit, the depressed Pepperami never does what any reasonable person would do and fucks off to start a new life elsewhere, he just hangs around looking like a lantern that's just heard some bad news and Del shows his 'softer side' by saying something like "you know I love yer, bruv". Another appalling example is the episode where Uncle Albert gets the 'ump and fucks off, and Del spends hours looking for him to the strains of a Paul McCuntney song. Dreadful.
