Allegedly got his missus to take points on her licence on his behalf. Always emphatically denied it like politicians always do. Interestingly the charge is one of those anomolies where there is no maximum sentance so theoretically he could (but unlikely) get life. Wondered where the next disgraced politician after the expeneses scandal was going to come from. If he is found guity and serves time no doubt he will still be allowed back amongst his cronie mates as if nothing had ever happened. Will be watching the trial with interest.
