  1. Dead or alive, it matters to me not.
  2. The "Other Pages" section is mildly amusing I 'spose, the rest is pure cack, aside from that your DTP skills are shite and you have too much time on your hands...
  3. Somewhat missing the point. I'm all for machines speeding up processes and presenting collated data but I worry when they are used for making quasi-judicial decisions.
  4. @EreptileDysfunction, I've embedded your link. We've had words before about you derailing threads. You did this within five minutes of the nom uploading. Cease and desist. That's a bit rich from someone who is not adverse in using the "report post" function. We have a zero tolerance policy to this type of comment, so off to the cooler. @Decimus, you as well, Decs
  5. More worryingly this is a "computer says no" story and is yet another example where machines are replacing human interaction and getting it wrong through faulty programming.
  6. I was going to say if the infraction was on a council car park or street and therefore contrary to local byelaws then you'll probably have to pay the Penalty Charge Notice. On privately owned parks then its a different matter for reasons that Scotty has just intimated. On the rare occasion I've received a Parking Charge Notice (note the difference) I've put them in the bin. So far the only follow up is a stern reminder but it has always come to nothing. That said, The Bishop is correct; I recall a persistent offender took it right up to the court of appeal who determined that the £75 "admin fee" was not unduly unreasonable.
  7. You can put the image into the gallery and link from there.
  8. I read somewhere that the old MX5 was the most reliable car ever in the UK. I'm currently running the slide rule over your employer's balance sheet, MC - it appears they're ripe for asset stripping. I'll make no further comment except to advise you to sell Ironstone Mansions as your professional indemnity won't cover liabilities attributed to yourself - something to do with photo-shopped qualifications...

I would be very surprised if its Withers. At present there is no evidence that KB is a sock puppet.
  10. I very much doubt Ms Pryce was/is a Tory, Chris Huhne is a Liberal Democrat.
  11. Sorry, are you now regretting the recent purchase of your Honda? Apparently OAP's like them.

There is a real point of law which you are wilfully ignoring as it does not suit your narrative. Much has been spun by the Home Office that Javid's decision was based on careful research. It appears that the research did not extend to making a simple 'phone call to the Bangladeshi government who would have told them that Begum is not entitled to citizenship. Consequently, the Home Secretary, with an eye to making political capital, illegally made Begum a stateless person contrary to international law. Behind all the populist cheering, there has been some measured disquiet from both right and left wing writers who have pointed out that Javid has created the notion of second class citizenship - it now appears that some people are more equal than others and that a dangerous precedent has been created. The Home Secretary has also, unwittingally, created a rod for his and his successors' backs.
  13. It pains me to say this but I sorta agree with MC; I earlier opined that Honda's CEO considered the cars as "uninspiring". There was a time when Honda marketed themselves as the BMW of the far east and put a price premium on their cars. The problem was that the Koreans also make very reliable motors for the masses but sell same for less money. By the time Honda realised that the European driver is the most fickle of markets it was too late. Nissan won't leave as the Sunderland plant is not only very efficient but it also makes the Qashqai (or the cash cow as its known by Nissan executives) Honda will no doubt wish they followed Mazda's example who, having shaken off the Ford shackles produce a range of cars that are not only less anodyne but come with punchy yet efficient engines - the Mazda 3, 6 & CX5 spring to mind.
  14. The original nom doesn't seem to have much in the way of the leg dept, so God knows why you created "Part II". I've merged the two.

    The Black 56

No, I didn't watch it on TV. Google is my friend.

    The Black 56

You're referring to 56 Black Men

For the avoidance of doubt... BTW, how was the "moralising" irrational?

Young Crab, given the minuscule possibility that you are self-aware enough as to why no-one takes you seriously, may I suggest you decide what you are actually arguing about? One moment silly Shamima is a "fucking dumb cow [who] knows nothing" yet five short sentences later you say "though there can be no doubt she colluded with war criminals and acts of genocide". I realise that pubic lice aren't known for having good memories but you can't have it both ways so it might be a good idea to stop making it up as you go along.
  19. Eh? Given that nature has decreed that females, being the more resilient of the genders, have far more complicated reproductive organs and that all the male has to do is deliver a piece of DNA before congratulating themselves for a 30 second job well done, one would have thought that would be the end of the matter. Instead men fill acres of print and cram the airwaves with "male problems" despite the male's bathroom bits being comparatively simple to that of the females. Prostate problems, testicular problems, impotency & erectile deficiency problems, fertility problems, premature ejaculation problems and then there is the time and effort we females have to spend dealing with the menfolk's psychological issues, constantly massaging the fragile male ego over their perceived inadequacy and self doubt, "don't worry love, it happens to every man" and "no pet, size really doesn't matter". FFS guys, it's simple; get it up, put it in and shoot - you're not launching a Saturn rocket!
  20. They voted to join, not remain, moreover they voted on an absolute assurance that the Common Market (as it then was) was no more than a beefed up EFTA and that there was no chance that this would morph into a United States of Europe. This was the line pushed by the "join" camp comprising of the political leadership of Tories and Labour. The campaigners of the "no" side were seen as the awkward squad and political oddballs. The electorate were lied to at worst and misled at best. By all accounts, Boris' Bus was a little white lie compared to promises made in '75 and is a major factor why the OAP demographic voted "out" in the last referendum.

    Which "law" would this be?

When Ms Begum travelled from the UK, she had £1500 and her elder sister's passport. No doubt she also received logistical support from an organisation who were aware of the PR value of "westernised" Muslims returning to the fold. At present she is one of thousands languishing in a refugee camp. As she has not committed any offence, local authorities are not interested in her and would prefer her to leave. Unfortunately, due to Javid's rash and illegal decision she is now stateless.

There was a major hue and cry when the three school girls went missing, at the time it was headline news in both the print and TV media with police appeals, APB to air, rail and sea ports in the UK and abroad. I believe parents (Including Mr Begum Snr) went to Turkey hoping to intercept the girls before they reached ISIL.
