  1. Its a clear-cut case. I've reversed the "likes" given purely for leaderboard manipulation purposes and as with other cases reduced @The Bishop of Phlegm's cumulative "likes" by 33%.
  2. Not a bad price, there's a 2002 model up for £10 on eBay.
  3. Idiot. The exploit is how keyloggers gain entry to your device. Think about that when you next key in a password or undertake on-line banking. As aside, if you go to the site's home page and look at the member stats box you'll see that we had in excess of 1200 online back in September 2016. That was when the site was swarmed by Chinese bots which was cleared by using IP blocking wildcards.
  4. I suspect the whole process (from image creation to file storage) took much longer than 10 seconds. The threat was real enough. Left alone the image was benign but could create an exploit if a user clicked on it. Please try to avoid "free" sites that do not require registration. Remember, you are the product.

What it may or may not have meant 100 years ago is irrelevant. Like it or not, there are certain words and phrases that will cause this site problems if used frequently.
  6. @nocti, I was about to do a quick retort to your cartoon, but instead must warn punters that the image contains a VBscript vulnerability. VBscript is no longer supported by Visual Basic hence any application is riddled with exploits. Please advise if you created the image via a website. Punters who use IE should download and scan their PC with Malwarebytes (which is free)
  7. Unwise to presume anything, Judge.

...except you're not handling this very well.
  9. Absolutely soaring above yours. Yeah, right., "not that nice" indeed. The sight of a disabled dude squiring a woman way above your pay grade has you and a few others frothing at the mouth.

No its not. Its a weasel-worded excuse to use racist pejoratives. Don't do it again
  11. You need to be careful here. GDP growth can also be an indicator that the costs of production is rising.
  12. Well, you're not going to get an in depth answer. This is very basic analysis, but essentially not only is the EU an internal trading block but is also a draconian protectionist zone. European businesses naturally have taken the easy route by concentrating on the benefits of frictionless trade within the EU and EEA. That's fine except the EU is now a mature market with not much scope for growth. As any economist will tell you, there needs to be growth to survive and prosper. Meaningful growth can only be found by tapping into markets outside the EU, a process which can be made easier and quicker if the UK negotiates unilaterally rather than as part of a group which has to take into account the separate needs of 28 constituent states.
  13. At the time I pulled your quote for my post, the bottom line did not exist. You made four alterations to your post, the bottom line of which was added to the fourth iteration. I think its stretching it to say that your post was satirical though I get the misplaced sarcasm. Indeed you are on record that you voted remain but nevertheless accepted the result, but you have repeatedly qualified this by saying the referendum vote was not legally binding and all that it infers.
  14. I voted to leave, suffice to say I am not racist, nor am I brainless. My reason to vote was based firstly on considered principles of this nation's right to self determination, a genuine concern over the erosion of UK sovereignty and the blatant lies given at the outset that the EEC was not a precursor to a United States of Europe. My second reasoning was purely economic; whilst I accept that in the short-term there might be a blip in economic trends, in the medium and long term our future is more prosperous outside the protectionist EU especially with regards to developing markets. It was interesting that your angry tirade was replete with grossly exaggerated statistics - "two million" - really? Also, I wasn't aware that the EEC/EU was responsible for taming the "out of control unions, maybe I'm just a thick gammon.
  15. Ok, Xenominge has been removed from the site and @Roadkill is taking an enforced rest for a few months. Explanations given were unsatisfactory on so many levels.
  16. I have to say I wasn't entirely convinced with @Xenominge's authenticity but without evidence it was difficult to pursue this further, however, @Roadkill, did you have the young lady's permission to upload her image? Is she a visitor to your home or is she you?

The problem with Stoops wasn't so much him uploading his own image, it was that the GF was included which, in all probability, was without her permission.

Waaay too young for me. I'm all for newbies finding their feet and understanding the form of the site before posting but three months lurking without contributing is a tad creepy. Self-doxing was a naïve error which she quickly realised. Plenty of punters have made clumsy starts yet go on to be confident posters as some of you can relate.
  20. Mold is OK, Flint needs flooding out but is haven compared to the troika of despair that is Deeside, namely Queensferry, Shotton & Connah's Quay.

They're easy to spot. The most insecure have yet to check in...
  22. It a Maguro bocho, a specialised tuna butchery knife. In Japan every mundane activity is long winded and done very precisely, preferably with a bit of pedantic ceremony from banging a drum to making a cuppa tea.

Funnily enough I've always thought that might be a possibility about yourself. Just saying.
  24. Killing Eve was a ripping good yarn which doesn't pretend to be anything other than a dark comedy. If people must stick their heads up their own arses and over-analyse then I suppose it's a story about obsession. I thought the series was superb - Jodie Comer is especially good as the assassin who may or may not be a psychopath.
