As the government has been forced to demonise drinking and smoking, they have found a new way to tax the shit out everybody. All of a sudden we are bombarded with advertising for online casinos and bingo websites, the traditional bingo halls are also portraying themselves as 'The place to be'. Sports sponsorship has been taken over by these cunts as well, if the man on the street wants to flush all their money down the toilet, that's his perogative, but the ad agencies depiction of these degenerate wasters is somewhat misleading. The gamblers are depicted as attractive, fashionable, successful specimens of humanity, coining it in and living the high life, every cunt on TV game shows, when asked what they might do with their potential winnings is, 'planning a trip to Vegas with the lads'. The reality is that most gamblers are inadequate cretins, hunched over a laptop, spunking their giros on imaginary poker sites that have convinced them that they are Steve McQueen in the Cincinnati Kid, or vile fat chavvy slags, feeding their 6 illegitimate brats on tesco value crisps so they can spend all their benefits on tattoos and 'foxy bingo'.

I fear it's all been done before... have a look at Hggarths "gin lane" fucking 18th century chavs smoking, drinking, cranking up, dropping babies and gambling.    It's how the ruling class keep the masses occupied in their own stupidity.  Throw the monkeys another banana they like it.

Plus they make a fucking killing out of us. £££

One of my favourite works of art, Gin lane and Beer Street, I think it was supposed to illustrate how much better life was for the beer drinking elite, how the world has changed.

I hope you're not equating Carling or Fosters with beer?

And have you seen the cost of a "craft beer" these days?

Don't be fucking silly! Of course carling and fosters aren't beer, I like speckled hen, hobgoblin and bishops finger (not in the same way as Punkers though), and I'm quite partial to Guinness if I want to keep it light, Newcastle Brown's alright but it causes flatulence.

I actually thought Gin Lane depicted late 1980s Salford circa Happy Mondays and the Hacienda.  Then I found it was depicting something much older.  Nothing's changed.....the gambling has just gone online, the sex has gone online, even dropping babies is on Facebook.   Same shit, different media.
