Andrew Lansley

Recommended Posts

Andrew Lansley, the Health Secretary manages to allow 50 people to die from swine flu while there are still 1 million vaccines in the stores. These will be out of date by next year, so the drug company that produces them must be pleased. He is also recommending the introduction of price based competition into the NHS against the advice of experts who say that this will lead to lower quality and higher risk in operations. A fixed price system has been shown to be effective leading to better managed hospitals and better outcomes for patients.
