No English manager has ever won the Premier League; the six managers to have won the title comprise two Scots, a Frenchman, a Portuguese and two Italians. Not too surprising, statistically speaking, as with the departure of Ian Holloway there are now just three English managers in the top division; Pardew, Allardyce & Bruce.
