  1. We all know stuff, Stubbs. The difference between you and me is that I put my knowledge to better remunerative use.
  2. The opera has a thought provoking message, and its not as if its been done before...
  3. Broadly correct, but as Environment Secretary (previously Justice Secretary) and cabinet member, Gove cannot by any stretch of the imagination be described as a "junior minister". --o0o-- All parties, are dicking about with semantics and now the UK govt is risking a constitutional crisis with regards to not disclosing the Attorney General's legal advice in its entirety with regard to the Brexit terms and accompanying diplomatic memorandum of understanding between the UK and the EU. The govt to date has refused to release the advice note on the basis that convention is that such documents are confidential and in that respect they are right. However parliament passed a motion demanding sight of the unredacted document. Parliamentary rulings trumps convention, it is as simple as that, so interesting times ahead.
  4. Boys, can we cut out the paedo insinuations. Not only does It creates more hassle than its worth, the "humour" has a half-life of nano seconds and is only amusing to the punter who posts it.
  5. The UKDJ article is accurate, for one thing UK and American nuclear strike authorisation protocols and procedures are not only independent of each other they are wholly different in their method of execution. Incidentally, British nuclear warheads are designed and built in the UK
  6. A few weeks ago a colleague sent me this vid - its worth watching 'cos this scores 10/10 on the cringeometer. I've no idea if the senator was selected on gender quota requirements but I will say this sort of nonsense happens in the UK and partially explains why UK Defence procurement is not only unnecessarily protracted but also not fit for purpose. The Admiral in the vid deserves a medal for keeping it together.
  7. Ah yes, your most potent ammunition...I think our problems began on the "Samantha Jones" thread when your own "potent ammunition" exploded rather spectacularly beneath your feet which was hardly my fault. TBF, many punters think I'm a gobshite and I've been called a lot worse. I have never banned anyone for disagreeing with me and certainly not for having an opinion at variance to my own. I've never, ever pulled rank during a debate. I do take action against those who wilfully break the rules, vandalise the site (as per last night) or whose actions and posts are such that they risk the site being pulled off-line or make the forum an unpleasant place to be in (former self-styled "Chairman of the Welcoming Committee" take note.) CGAS, you've obviously worked yourself into a frenzy and I sense the early symptoms of a meltdown that only seems to happen at weekends and bank holidays. Chill dude.
  8. Oh crap, you've got the Albert Ross Book of Savage Insults next to the keyboard.
  9. Mssrs @Fatty & @Eddie , you're both off site until 12 Jan 2019.
  10. Just wading through the site's complaint and "Reported Post" log and this nom has been listed for complaint on the basis that the subject is a minor. The complaint is overruled cos the subject is an adult who has chosen to discuss his childhood. Should a 13 year announce to world, "I got Aids" then of course the nom would not be allowed.
  11. That reminds me, need to sort out last night's drink fuelled mini-rampage. Where's me Taser?
  12. Yeah, you're gonna have to do a lot more than churn out strawman clichés. Do yourself a favour and stop strutting around the forum as if you're one of the site's big beasts.
  13. Its true Rouble laundromats seem to congregate behind British brass plates but the UK is arguably the world centre of international finance and the British produce the world's finest and most sophisticated financial engineers. The good news is that there is now legislation and protocols in place as the OECD Financial Task Force is pumping out leads to the NCA's Financial Intelligence Unit. The bad news is that both in the USA & UK suspects have to prove their innocence when faced with "Explain your wealth" orders (ie you're guilty unless you prove your innocence, contrary to the USA fifth amendment and UK common law and Magna Carta) Also and in keeping with Whitehall's knack to either throw copious amounts of money to white elephants or to under fund worthy projects, the UK has chosen to do the latter in controlling money laundering. The NCA, Companies House and Serious Fraud Office simply do not have the resources to cope with illicit money supply.
  14. Welsh pronouncing does seem problematic more so when learning mutations, but what's with the French giving the boys girly names, Antoine, Sacha, Gabin, Babtiste and what's with Bastien? Small wonder their presidents end up marrying their mums.
  15. That's a valid point, just a shame the Remainers were not equally as gracious in defeat.
  16. Rumour has it they got the YTS trainee to dip into the petty cash tin to buy yours, Panz.
  17. Had what coming? So far all we've witnessed is the pitiful squirming of a beta male plonker with alpha pretentions. You effect faux superiority by addressing anyone (male or female) who has an opinion at variance to your own as "sweetie" or "dear". Aside from telling porkies, all you do is self-project your obvious insecurities and shortcomings onto other people. You write eloquently enough but you are one of life's call-centre drones ("customer resolutions" indeed) with a humanities degree. Move on and continue with the slice of life observations and A-level standard history lessons you ridiculous man.
  18. Its no good banging at the Caps Lock, my thoughts on feminism are well known eg, OTOH, your own blatant misogyny is a matter of public record and there is nothing you can say that will dissuade anyone from making such an opinion.
  19. Spooky. I (and no doubt some the more cognisant members of the puntership) was thinking on the same lines. I suspect CGAS has been done over like a kipper by the "gorgeous" and "feminine" wife of 20 years who, when not willingly and lovingly ironing shirts and availing herself to week-long shagathons, was otherwise presenting her husband's credit card statements for posh hotels, restaurants, jewellers, Xhamster, & Adultwork.com subs to Mssrs Sue, Grabbit & Runne. It sorta explains this statement. ...and it gives an insight to his rabid misogyny.
  20. Calm down doc, I wasn't aware this constituted a spar.
  21. Let's just say you can't answer the question.
  22. Your inability to multi-task is not my concern. I figure you've caught out being economical with the actualité .
  23. I think there are eleven constitutional monarchies in Europe so staying in the EU will not appease your republican fervour. At as for the House of Lords, that is work in progress and major steps have taken place since 1977. Lords can no longer veto or frustrate money bills and can only delay other bills by one year unless the HoC have three parliamentary sittings to qualify immediate Royal Assent. At present there remains 92 hereditary peers and they to will be out in due course. HoL reform may appear slow but there is general consensus that constitutional change should be evolutionary rather than revolutionary. Most people agree on the need for an upper house, what's undecided on who occupies the chamber - appointed, elected or a mixture of both.
