  1. We've actually been here before (twice) with regards to Sen Johnson's 'senate hearings'... Your problem, Billy is that your default position is to lie - so much so that you can't remember which lies you've previously spouted and been found out.
  2. Whereas away from having to read your drivel I don't give you a moment's thought. No worries, I'll see you in your nightmares.
  3. So you can, now playing the "no, you are" game. So much for the affected air of "devil's advocate" indifference...
  4. Once again your own caveat applies, this time on account of lying through your teeth...
  5. Said without any bias under the cowardly guise of devil's advocacy, yeah right. Pompous pratt.
  6. I appreciate I have an unfounded reputation for being a know-all, but you must realise I know jack about the condition of Ms Mourdant's vagina.
  7. Not too sure why you would cite a Russian govt spokeswoman when I had previously described events as a "farrago of fuck-ups" and that "Truss & Kwarteng deserved the subsequent opprobrium"...still, your petulance is noted. Anyway, you just can't admit that you're wrong - you never have and never will therefore I must be right. See how that doesn't work? Ridiculous.
  8. I never said I voted for Truss. I said I was given the right to vote for the Tory party leader, a right I have always chosen not to exercise for reasons previously articulated. Yet another fatuous statement from you, how retarded is that?
  9. Well, there was consternation in Whitehall but civil servants are not allowed to "go political". Amongst the politcos dissent was limited to yesterday's heavy hitters e.g. Gordon Brown and current small players. No doubt the Westminster bubble was expecting a radical Libertarian budget in light of Truss and Kwarteng's pitch during her leadership campaign but to be told that not only would the costings come later in the Autumn Statement but there would also be "more to come" in the dash for growth was an incredible state of affairs. Truss and Kwarteng deserved the subsequent opprobrium. The irony is that Libertarian economics decree that "let the market decide" and the market decided, but not in the way they assumed it would.
  10. Why? Was a woman in charge during previous financial crises? -o0o- As for the current farrago of fuck-ups I do get annoyed by talking heads pontificating about "no one elected this prime minister". That's right because constitutionally the UK is a parliamentary democracy, not a presidential one. In other words, the party with the most seats provide the government and by definition, the prime minister. IMO the rot set in with the introduction of the American style "sofa cabinets" and the rise of SpAds wielding unelected power - Alastair Campbell and Dominic Cummings spring to mind. The other issue was that party political leaders were chosen by the parliamentary political party i.e. MPs who won their seats by going on the hustings and who would have an understanding of their respective electorates and more importantly the fine detail behind the headline policies. In the interests of "democracy" the MP's suffrage was diluted by giving party members (including myself) the right to vote in the leadership race. This created a two-tier universal suffrage with a minority of voters having more voting clout than others.
  11. Because they were removed by the Truss Government. Firstly, the Treasury's respected and experienced senior civil servant, Tom Scholar, Permanent Secretary to the Treasury, was summarily dismissed without notice shortly before Kwarteg was appointed Chancellor. Secondly, the OBR were advised that on this occasion, their report to accompany the mini budget would not be required even though they said they could produce the forecasts in time.
  12. Not bad KB, you've only mentioned me in six posts yesterday... Anyway... Well, look at you, squawking like a lobotomised parrot fed on a diet of Hundreds & Thousands. In fact, I made my opinion very clear in a previous post but because you are dumber than a bag of rocks you failed to notice.
  13. Isn't that what you're doing...on a site that is bereft of anyone admitting being wrong?
  14. Gosh, six notifications that I've been quoted by the same punter - anyone would think I'm living rent free in someone's head... Looks like The Mail have jumped the gun on a pre-print rather than wait for the peer-reviewed paper and naturally the crazies (Fox News et al) have ran with it - grist to the mill for the conspiracy nut-jobs and mugs.
  15. Clearly the "R" word vexes you. Suffice to say no apology is due for someone who promulgates baseless theories and refers to others who disagree with you and your kind as "sheep".
  16. Instead I had you banged to rights. Every time.👍
  17. Did the figures include the death of your "best friend"? As I recall we were deluged by your crocodile tears at the time.
  18. Get over yourself. The alluding to qualifications was instigated by someone else, I was asked a question and I answered it. Wolfie, I note that lately you have been stomping around picking fights with all and sundry. I've ignored it as you usually end up being spanked and rightly so. Incidentally, my changing of careers had nothing to do with having children.
  19. Brilliant. So your understanding of the difference is that one type of vaccine "teaches" whilst the other is "more traditional". In fact, both types do the same job, that is, to prepare the body to deal with the virus. mRNA vaccines instruct the body to make antibodies whilst the other creates the antibodies in a laboratory and are introduced ready-made. The benefits are obvious - antibodies made by one's own immune system provide a much smaller risk of rejection and side effects compared to a one-size-fits-all concoction made in an industrial laboratory. Needless to say, mRNA vaccines do not give you liver cancer nor do they alter one's DNA. I'll ignore your suggestion that I am beyond dosed up as I take advice to take the jabs where recommended as I am immunocompromised due to medication I take to control a debilitating condition I have. Your assertion that the virus is no more than a bad cold is ridiculous - it might be for some with regards to the weaker strains of covid but in other cases covid has been lethal.
  20. @Old Chap Raasclaat Whilst I have your attention... Still waiting professor...
  21. Indeed, obviously the gnomes of Geneva and every London, New York, Paris, Bonn and Singapore market-maker check in at The Corner whilst perusing their screens first thing in the morning... In truth I haven't pushed anything. I do correct baseless rumours promulgated by retards who think the puntership is as stupid as they are.
  22. I have a BDS and MSc (non-medical). FYI I've received 2 x AZ, 3 x Pfizer and two weeks ago a Moderna Bivalent booster as well as the standard flu and pneumonia jabs. What's your take as to why the covid vaccines are unsafe. Explain your understanding on the difference of mRNA and non mRNA vaccines. Do you actually know? See previous post.
