  1. Starving yourself for 16 hours is the preserve of fat cunts awaiting their next fasting cholesterol and glucose test. Quite right not all cut the clit off, that appears to be a Somalian specialty, but the foreskin is widespread acceptable practice. As you know, I have worked with Foreigners all my working life. I have no problem with peoples nationality, I'm not that narrow minded. I just note that Indians, Nigerians, Mauritians, Filipinos all pretty much share the same views on muslims. I guess they have been hoodwinked into thinking there should be serious reservations about this backward faith.
  2. I question the sanity of people who forcefully starve themselves all day, then go to pray after breaking said fast. I question those who cut women's clits off. I question those who don't allow their wives to leave the house without permission first. I question those who cut boys foreskins off with no medical evidence to suggest it is beneficial. Doesn't make them bad, just completely fucking mad and/or controlling. Fits in perfectly with our all inclusive, equal society.
  3. I quite agree about the sub-letting and those who are not legally entitled to reside in the UK. The problem is that children, who are entirely innocent, are also caught up in this whole shambles. You mention dignity, rightly so, but a country and its administration is also judged on how it treats children as an indicator to how civilised it is.
  4. Are you sure that isn't Bill playing with the dressing up box that is in the cooler?

I can't say I'm worse off or better off whichever cunts are in power, you have to make your own luck and avoid as much tax possible. Giving it to any government is a green light for them to piss it up the wall. Mrs May is not in power, weak and controlled by others, which does not serve the UK plc's interest whatsoever.

So this wanker, no longer an MP, says that it is wrong to lift the 1% pay cap for public service workers, whilst he makes a speech for which he gets weighed in handsomely. Looks like he is an even bigger cunt than ever and civil war is coming along nicely amongst the tories.
  7. Her bargaining chip is the child.
  8. The cooler door has opened. @Frank show yourself.
  9. The cooler door has opened. @Gurt, you are at liberty to post if you so wish. Please, no foul shit.
  10. I don't disagree with that. However, my point about futility is what it comes down to. If the child was not in such a critical state already, then I suspect the paediatricians would not have raised concerns about taking him abroad. Another comparison. A surgeon would not perform emergency surgery for a ruptured aneurysm on a bedbound, end stage demented person because it is futile. It may be an opportunity for training surgeons to practice their skills, but ultimately it is cruel. There is a difference between that and giving everybody a chance.
  11. I think the point being missed by many, is the absolute futility of this child's situation. With such a rare condition and lack of research, the evidence simply isn't there that the proposed treatment would make any difference.
  12. I don't understand that point. Money should not come into it.
  13. Not a lot wrong with that, but in the eyes of the law, the rights of the child are paramount. This is an essential safeguard against erroneous parental decisions.
  14. Just trying to make sense of this judgement. Not moralising or bludgening. I think Mr Baws states the point well. Don't get upset Mr McMurphy
  15. If this was allowed the whole care process would become open to all sorts of unlicensed practices that would undermine the principle of having evidence based trained clinicians.
  16. I give you an example of a situation I have encountered. A child was admitted to the A&E department following a road traffic collision. The child had sustained injuries which showed a splenic rupture. The child required immediate commencement of a blood transfusion (to prevent death from hypovolaemia) and immediate surgery. However, the child's parents were Jehovah Witnesses, and had no objections to consenting for the surgery but were adamant that a blood transfusion should not be started. Are clinicians supposed to respect the wishes of the parents or act in the child's best interests that the relevant laws allow them to do?
  17. It is not about the parents or institutions. It is about the best interests of the child.
  18. If it is considered that travelling abroad is likely to prolong or increase suffering of the child then the Judges have acted in the child's best interest. This judgement would have been made scrutinising the efficacy of the proposed treatment abroad. There is no easy solution in this case, only taking what is believed to be the least harmful choice.
  19. The responsible clinicians have a duty of care to the child. They clearly believe it is not in the child's best interests to be taken abroad and have acted to ensure his best interests are upheld. I don't think being stuck with one million pounds is a problem, it can contribute to research for genetic diseases in children. What they are stuck with is grief, and that should be an entirely private matter for them to express out of the gaze of publicity.
  20. Some of the best paediatricians are at Great Ormond Street. It is World renowned. I think the courts have sensibly backed up the correct clinical decision and prevented some phantom quack taking the raised money with nothing offered in return. The current climate of empowering people about health care choices doesn't make them clinicians. It makes them more susceptible to being mugged by any cunt who promises miracles without researched evidence to qualify their claims.
  21. I don't question the incontrovertible fact the plod fucked up and the government assisted by the Murdoch press smeared innocent people to suit their cover-up narrative. What I question is the fact the people who turned up ticketless were the catalyst for the whole chain of erroneous events; the last inquiry obfuscated this fact. The whole culture around English football thugs hasn't changed. Many firms are already coalescing and sharpening their tools ready for an orgy of violence at the 2018 World cup in Russia. 28 years later not much has moved on in the tribal attitude that prevails in fucking football.
  22. If one responds in kind to all the gay, aids, Nigerian etc.. references, then that perpetuates the problem. Plenty here don't engage it, so don't have an issue with it. When I've had enough of it, he goes in the cooler.
  23. It was clear Duckenfield had agreed to carry the can on this debacle. A total of 6 people. Just several thousand ticketless thugs to go then. Cue Andy Burnham and another fucking homily.
