You've got hardcore porn as your information resource about sexual relationships two clicks away on your phone. You've got rap artists boasting about the women they've fucked or the niggers they've popped 'like it aint no thing' as your role models. You've got a disease that can take you out if you have unprotected sex and class A drugs WAY more accessible than our generation had it and so it's tough to get information on things that you need from a shitty, fucked up culture and society like we have at present.I would not like to be trying to make my way as a teenager now.However.I'd like to think I had a bit more about me than to roll over and invent some fucking syndrome or issue for myself and have the World go and indulge me on my little self-obsessed trip. I know a several cunts who claim to have, PTSD ... but of them there are four cases that I consider genuine, you are ex army and one a sole survivor of a car crash where the rest of her family were killed. All bar one of the ex army ones do manage to hold down jobs of one kind or the other. PTSD seemed to appear as an answer to everything back in the 1990s, twelve years ago a shrink diagnosed me as having PTSD .. it was a load of bollocks, I had simply lost a job I was "married" to and it was some kind of grieving process and I needed to get over it and for something to be done about the original cause. For PTSD there is no way of doing something about the original cause. How could what I had and was going through be compared with what squaddies or an accident victim had gone through? The simple answer to most of these modern "medical conditions" is "Get over it", depression is part of life, of course doing this would do an whole army of shrinks and pseudo therapists out of a job and few of the latter would be able to find alternative work in the real world. Burn baby burn!Quite a lot did come back from both world wars with PTSD, back in the 60s and up to the 80s we still called it "Shell Shock" and a lot of the poor fuckers were suffering right to the end of their lives but most of them still managed to do something with their lives. If the variable/subject is black or white, that is fine, but grey can not be quantified accurately. The intuition or gut is lacking, sometimes this may be a good thing to take the emotion out of decision making, but at important times it is essential. There is also still a large consumer class to feed. If they don't get fed or they don't have money to buy consumables then money will stop going round. And tits up the whole show goes......again.Hence my point about some stuff still needing "a jury" and "overseers"....
