They are, supposedly, forensic scientists, but are portrayed as ultra-sharp sleuths than can solve any crime. I've just seen one induce a small "voltage" of 100pF ( which is a measure of capacitance to all you thickies out there) in the arm of a stiff, to allow its finger print to be detected by its mobile phone. As far as I am aware....and I'm sure you'll all correct me if I'm wrong... but when you die you don't just lose your fingerprints, they don't fall off, they don't magically melt away, so there's no fucking need to stick a cattle prod up a corpses' arse unless your name is Uncle Jimmy.
