  1. It's Saturday night and I suspect a few shandies have been had, so I'm going to take the unusual step of temporarily locking this thread because tempers are getting a bit frayed. I or one of the other mods will unlock it when everyone has calmed down.
  2. This thread seems to be degenerating into yet another thinly disguised racist rant.
  3. If they become darker, asymmetrical and have irregular edges see your doctor. Or possibly your vet.
  4. I don't know about the Hitler thing, but you are right. Red meat and processed meat in particular have been suspected carcinogens for ages. In the case of processed food nitrites are most likely to be the problem because they can form highly carcinogenic nitrosamines in the presence of amines.

    tony blair

Yep that's the one. Don't get me started on Blair. In 1997 we thought it was all going to change, only to find the leader of what we though was The Labour party, but he called "New Labour", was a Thatcherite Tory. Nothing much changed. Then in 2003 he took us into thicko Bush's pointless invasion of Iraq which created a land fit for ISIS. And he still thinks he did the right thing. Cunt.
  6. Is it though? I wasn't around in the early days when the old main posting board evolved from the discontinued CuntsCorner on HolyMoly, but my understanding is that it was purely for nominating people in the media spotlight who you consider are cunts. I would think then as now that didn't include unsubstantiated, libellous accusations or racism. Yes things may have changed a bit here and there, but for myself if I deleted everything I personally consider gratuitously offensive an awful lot more posts would hit the bin and that's always been the case.
  7. It's known now that her illness was meningitis caused by the Ebola virus. It's not much consolation for her because she faces a long recovery, but it has provided useful information about Ebola. It has been known that Ebola can lead to meningitis, but usually at the height of the infection. This is the first time it's been documented in an otherwise recovered patient, so it's one to look out for in the future.
  8. Now you're being silly, in what way could that possibly work?
  9. Dear me there's some unpleasant bollox on this thread. Some of you sound like you're on a BNP pub crawl. The aim of a deradicalization program is laudable, the problem is how to do it. The worst case scenario is that it comes across as a preachy lecture by Tory toffs. Nobody is going to decide against joining ISIS because David Cameron tells them not to. You are talking predominantly about disillusioned teenagers. Actually it's not vastly different from telling teenagers not to grow their hair long, smoke dope and listen to loud music would have been in the past, except that nobody got killed back then. Unfortunately for some Muslim youth ISIS is the new rock and roll. I'm not being frivolous, there is a similarity. They feel disaffected, alienated, undervalued and are looking for a purpose and an identity. That's what the ISIS nutters are promising them. So it's got to come from within the Muslim community and there's no reason to be cynical and say it can't. It can and it has to. It can't be seen to be dogma driven by this government to look good to Daily Mail readers.

I had no idea it was still going. Yes it was funny in its day, but ran out of ideas ages ago.
  11. I think there's overreaction going on here. I've had posts deleted on other forums. It's irritating if you don't think there was anything wrong with your post, but its not a reason to throw your toys out of the pram and take your ball home, if you'll pardon the mixed metaphor.
  12. Roy had a guitar custom built by British guitar maker John Birch in the 70s. He also had two guitars built for his sons. John Birch, Roy Orbison, John Diggins, Arthur Baker, at John Birch Guitars in Rubery Birmingham with "The Eagle".
  13. A bit close to out of court there.

Cricket means nothing to most people now because it's a private game for Sky TV customers only.
  15. The guy without a guitar to the left, Ray Thomas I think, gives a prefect example of ill-advised dance moves.
  16. Well David can play football a bit and Victoria ................ er I have to get back to you on that one.

A troll from the pathetic and now defunct Society Of Cunts.

I saw part of a Springer show for the first time in ages and I was struck by how incompetent the bouncers are. At least Kyle's bouncers know how to stop a fight with minimal physical contact - you put your not inconsiderable bulk between the protagonists, hold out your arms so they can't come around you and it's fight over most of the time. Springers clowns were reduced to trying to drag people apart by their wrists.
  19. I can't think of any way you can use Google to search specifically for nominations, but you can search for words and phrases. For example if you wanted to search for Jeremy Kyle type. site:cuntscorner.com "jeremy kyle"

He's just split from his second wife too. Maybe he should have spoken to The Genius. Come to think of it why does Graham Stanier lower himself to be part of this charade, other than presumably a decent salary? By all accounts he's quite well respected in his field, or at least he was.
