A issue is that prison life is for many an improvement on their life in the outside world a cause being that conditions in prisons and other custodial institutions are decide by upper middle class cunts to whom living even a lower middle class life would seem like a punishment and they place the comfort level just below that of the middle class .. for may that represent a considerable improvement on their home lives .. for lower working class, underclass and youngsters from many one parent families as long as they behave themselves in those institutions they will get access to luxuries that they would never get at home. Punishment needs to be real .. no television, no radio, no X-Box or playstation etc.

The real issue re these release decisions by the parole panel is whether or not they are seen as a danger to the public .. the punishment phase actually ends at the end of the defined minimum sentence any time served after that is for continued retraining of them. Ironically Venables will no longer be serving a sentence as punishment but simply being detained to protect the public until he can prove that he is no longer a public danger. The same will apply to Colin Pitchfork who has been recalled to prison.

Perhaps that should be standard in all such cases .. it might also reduce the attraction for naive fuckwits outside the prison from becoming their penpals and "lovers" and forming relationships with them people which often results in them being released to their "care" and all too often reofending. It would be a similar reality for an independent Scotland that is within the EU .. the problem is that both Britain and Ireland are not part of mainland Europe .. we are on the fringe and are also a very convenient dumping ground and the fact that the vast majority of these dumped people speak at least a little English also makes it easier for them .. the advantage for mainland Europe (The EU) is that they are offshore so out of sight and out of mind.
