At a recent US Senate hearing, the former Attorney General was called in to testify and give her understanding of alleged Russian interference in the recent Presidential elections. Republican Senator Cruz, a Harvard trained lawyer, decided to "revisit" Yates' dismissal by President Trump, presumably to discredit her legal expertise and garner political points for himself. His first mistake was not to pay attention when Yates feigned uncertainty when asked about Title 8 of the US code, § 1182 whereupon he launched into legelese over said code only to have it thrown back at him.
