Irons and ankle injuries

Dealt with 10 today, 9 had attempted to play Sunday football, one played rugby. Clinical guidelines (known as the Ottawa rules) give 100% accuracy from correct clinical examination of the injury that warrant an x-ray. One criteria for x-ray is non weight bearing on the limb. All 9 of the football injuries were not weight bearing, 1 hopped in, 2 were carried in, 5 used a wheelchair and 1 cunt even called an ambulance. 6 were sure they had broken their ankle. From the clinical examination, none of them appeared to have any bony injury and didn't need the expense of a x-ray performed, but the guidelines have to be observed. Needless to say all had minor ligament sprains, and could have treated themselves at home with a bit of common sense and widely available advice on the NHS website. All requested crutches to help get out of the unit, but weight bearing and correct exercises are part of the treatment. 2 of them got shitty about no crutches. The rugby injury hobbled in asking for an advice leaflet for ankle injuries. After examining him, he was surprised that I wanted an x-ray of his ankle. He fractured his lateral malleolus. I defy any cunt to challenge the status quo, "FOOTBALL IS FOR IRONS"
