CCArchive Posted August 16, 2014 Report Share Posted August 16, 2014 If you're going to refer to some long-winded description several times in a document then it makes sense to form an abbreviation and use it in the remainder of the text rather than repeat the whole long-winded thing, whatever it is . However, you are a cunt if you abbreviate something and then never refer to it again. All this does is generate lots more mindless and instantly forgettable Three Letter Abbreviations (TLAs.) The world has too many cunting TLAs already and at least half the time I have no idea WTF they mean so whoever wrote them DFT about the reader of their text when they wrote it, making them a CATC.
