First of all these resignations have nothing whatsoever to do with the referendum result. The blame for that is entirely Cameron's. There was no need to call this referendum, except that he panicked about the Eurosceptics within his own party and the rise of UKIP. To make things worse he placed himself at the centre of the Remain campaign, so it became for many people a referendum on Cameron and the establishment. It wasn't Corbyn's job to get him out of the hole he dug for himself. The MPs trying to get rid of Corbyn are Blairites and there are a lot of them. That's because during the New Labour years lists of candidates were imposed on constituency parties and of course they were all Blairites. New Labour was used to always winning and also to treating the membership with contempt. It was therefore inconceivable to them that a socialist like Corbyn could become leader. He did though because the members wanted a real Labour leader, not someone who believed in sugar-coated Thatcherism. The Blairites never accepted it, so now instead of fighting a Tory party in disarray they want a re-run of the leadership campaign. They are the real cunts because they are handing the Tories a lifeline.

Yes there are problems and there's no point in denying it, but I don't think multiculturalism has been a failure as such. In any case we have to make it work, turning the clock back 50+ years isn't an option.

I'm surprised it hasn't happened before too, but until the time arrives when the US gun nutters realise that everyone being armed to the teeth is a bad idea, i.e. probably never, these things will happen. I really don't know what you're trying to say there, people who hate dogs deserve what? You don't have to hate dogs not to want them howling and barking outside your window all night. I certainly don't hate dogs, I hate people who get them and aren't prepared to put the work in to look after them properly. Dogs are hard work, but it's worth it. I would love to have a dog of my own, but I can't because I'm not able to put the time in to look after it properly so I just act as a sort of fosterer to other people's dogs weekends and holiday time.

It's not the dog's fault, it's the idiots who buy them. Most people who get dogs haven't got a clue, they don't understand them, don't know what they need, how to control them or how to keep them happy. So they give it a bowl of food and kick it out into the yard, then wonder why the animal becomes noisy and aggressive. If you want something that largely looks after itself get a cat, or better still don't get anything at all.

Well it was and I thought this section as opposed to The Open Corner still was, but it's nothing to do with me now really. There were more posters, but to an extent that's symptomatic of the current status of forums in general, inevitably the advent of Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat etc have taken their toll. I can't say I particularly like it. There is a misconception though, sushi does not mean raw fish, it means vinegared rice. Quite a lot of sushi from sushi bars does contain raw fish, but it can also contain cooked fish or even be vegetarian. Raw fish has to be very fresh to be palatable and safe to eat, so all sushi you buy from supermarkets is either veggie or has things like cooked prawn or tinned tuna in it.
