  1. She seemed like a good laugh. She'd have been fine married to some minor toff with an Aga and some labradors.
  2. You don't need to, he's ginger and his eyes are too close together. Also, as he has played such a large part in creating/curating his own image, it's quite reasonable to assume that what we are allowed to see is close to the reality.
  3. I hear that our future King and his half-wit sibling have piped up over the BBC's interview with their dim, whining clothes-horse of a mother. Apparently this Bashir used some petty minor subterfuge (standard journalistic practice) to get her to agree to an interview that she wanted to do anyway.
  4. I know it can sometimes be hard to tell, but those are the blokes.
  5. With a kind of smug expression, like they're some kind of superior being.
  6. It seems to be mostly the females. Many of them aren't even girl-shaped.
  7. Most of the cunts on these things aren't proper disableds, they're just too fat/lazy to walk.
  8. Well, he seems like a nice chap and now he's retired from footballing, I expect he needs an excuse to get out of the house for a bit. At least he hasn't tried singing or punditry. I've never seen Friends but I gather it's not a particularly intellectual show; he'll probably fit in well.
  9. It looks like a straightforward "You've outstayed your welcome" type visit. It's the complete surrender to the mob that I think is disturbing.
  10. https://www.heraldscotland.com/news/19301608.kenmure-street-glasgow-locals-rejoice-men-detained-immigration-enforcement-released/ Apparently, in Scotland, public violence and a belief in fairy-stories are now considered more important than the rule of law. If these cunts aren't meant to be in the county then they should be fucked off post-haste, regardless of whatever superstitious arsewipery they subscribe to,
  11. Bit late for April Fools' Day. Luckily, you don't get twats like this outside London.
  12. At about that time a mate in the service said that they'd spent two shifts moving all the ladder racks 12" lower. A week later, they had a woman inflicted on them. One of the others was disciplined when he complained that she would be unable to rescue her "buddy" in an emergency. It was ok though, she was promoted a few weeks later.
  13. I've neither shaved nor worn a tie since the day I left school (I've also never changed a nappy nor used an iron). My beard is a millennial.
  14. I did this too, at about 40, an amusing side-effect being the reaction of congenital slap-heads to voluntary baldness.
  15. A ninety-five year-old friend told me a while ago that, the day after George VI died, she noticed a pair of shops in town; the dressmaker was displaying a huge pair of purple knickers and the butcher's window was festooned with black puddings.
  16. I never lock my house (I'm old and might lose the key) and the door locks on my car don't work.
  17. That's what they call "woke" isn't it?
  18. I as never under any real illusion about it but I still feel that unions can play an important role in protecting the powerless, they've certainly advised and helped me a few times. A sort of AA for life. I was involved in the promotion of nationally recognised qualifications that didn't tie semi-skilled workers to one employer. I thought that was worthwhile.
  19. It's probably fun being poor, if you can go home when you get bored with it. It's not the same when you don't know here the next meal's coming from.
  20. Over the last 40 years, after a youth spent chucking bricks at NF marches, I have been a shop-steward, a branch secretary and served on the divisional and national committees of two different unions. I packed it up a few years ago after I found myself appointed (not elected) to attend an AGM; wielding over two thousand votes representing "my" members, about ten of whom I'd actually met. The leadership and paid officers (of this well-known, moderate union) had no idea of the views of the general membership and saw the whole movement as a cover for Trotskyite influence. These people often don't have a background in the industry they represent but are over-paid career shit-stirrers. I like to think that I helped a few people during this time; In some way used my education to fuck the bourgeoisie. I don't think many people care about the colour of their leaders' flags, they just want to be treated fairly.
