  1. Mssrs @Eddie & @Witheredscrote have been coolered for various comments made on both the Main and open Corners. That said, I'll also make the following observations... @Wizardsleeve, you need to calm down - you seem to have more vendettas running than anyone one else on this site and your presence here is becoming toxic. I would suggest you remove your signature comments before I or the other Admins do it for you. I would also suggest to the Furious Five that the campaign to ostracise a punter has had the opposite effect of what it set out to do. They all have gone about it the wrong way due in part to the instigators being ill-disciplined and having planet-sized egos. "Look wot I just did, let's talk about it" . As I said before - retarded.
  2. You're welcome. A bit disingenuous there Judge, that wasn't exactly all your words...that particular phrase in its entirety was the problem.
  3. Um...Years And Years is a warning, not a celebration of how the human condition may evolve if society continues the way it is going. The "trans" daughter is a case in point; she's embracing transhumanism, not transgenderism, something that appals even her right-on parents.
  4. The only difference between digital and analogue is the number of values that the signal transmits. If your Heath Robinson kit was on the same frequency as the emergency services then it could very well interfere the with emergency services near the pirate transmitter.
  5. On the contrary, Major. Digital and analogue signals can be transmitted on the same frequency. In such a conflict the stronger signal would swamp the other. I wonder how many lives your illegal indulgence inconvenienced.

    Ramadan 2018

I discussed this with several Muslim colleagues, those living at or near the polar ends of the hemisphere fast according to times at the equator though British Muslims generally break the fast from 20.00 to 03.30 hours. Diabetics, the sick, nursing mothers, children and menstruating women are exempt from fasting rules.
  7. A pointless question if I may say so. Of course I looked it up. I don't memorise the technical minutiae of everything. I'm aware which countries are known for fast internet speeds and LCS's new home isn't one of them.
  8. I'm a tribal Tory but will be voting for the Brexit party as a protest for the theft my referendum vote. Nothing galvanises an MP's sense of honour more than the threat of losing his well-paid seat.
  9. On mobile connections in built up areas maybe (world ranking rated 6th) but on landline connections the average is 33.28 Mbps (world ranking rated 60th)
  10. You would be fairly wrong. Add another year to your calculations. At least. --o0o-- All you guys with your paranoia-driven suspicions are usually way off the mark. Seizing a random clue and giving it far more weight than it deserves doesn't help either.

Lets be clear, 1/ Frank is not, and has never been, Kreed Kafer (an anagram of Derek Faker as famously used to expose Derek Acorah) 2/ If a punter is being abused via PM then an Admin needs to be invited into a conversation before any action is taken.
  12. I think that would be correctly presented as "The Light Destroyer" which isn't exactly menacing.

No. I raised the "misconduct" angle with my own lawyer on one of the occasions I was released without charge. My understanding is that "Misconduct in Public Office" is a common law charge and is open to subjective interpretation. As a consequence the public official would have to be charged with a criminal offence before the additional charge of misconduct can be applied.

...and here she is in action - I have to say that on this occasion the sabs were piss-poor on how they handled the situation. They simply weren't clued up as they should've been. PC Ford misused common law rulings with regards to breach of the peace and the sabs were wrong to question her authority whilst off duty. The sabs were entitled to trespass (a civil law issue) away from the bridle path as they had reasonable belief that a criminal act was about to be/or was being/or had been committed and were therefore entitled to be on the land to prevent any further offence being committed contrary to the Hunting Act 2004. It appears that PC Ford not only ignored the hunting criminality, she was actively supporting the hunters. One of the sabs actually began to question PC Ford on this issue but failed to complete the point she was trying to make. A complaint was subsequently made to the police authority after social media images were found of PC Ford riding with hounds whilst participating in a pre-season fox-cubbing event, an even more disgusting form of fox hunting. The Cheshire Police Professional Standards branch did their usual whitewashing, "we investigated ourselves and found we did nothing wrong". Here's a vid of a group of monitors (though I suspect there were sabs deep in the field in radio contact) simply recording an illegal hunt and quietly informing the hunt master that "its all on film". The hunt packed up and left. Result!

That'll be PC Claire Ford, a Cheshire Forest Hunt supporter who was filmed barking out "lawful" orders to hunt sabs and monitors.

Absolutely, I've been arrested five times whilst harassing fox hunters, in each case the charges were dropped. Thankfully The Cheshire PCC has cottoned on to public disquiet surrounding illegal foxhunting and has ordered a review as to why law-abiding hunt monitors and sabs have been receiving police attention whereas the rural crime team are doing nothing against the fox hunters. Its a painfully slow process but times a'changing.

Yes, unbearable in every way, as I recall...

Lets put it this way Eric. In life there are order givers and order takers. I have very little experience of being in the latter group whereas you appear to be a seasoned veteran.

No need to go all roidal with me, its not my fault you couldn't get into police college.

For some reason you have ignored my concurring with another punter who alluded to a reason. We purposely exercise a light touch in rule enforcement. Now if you prefer that we go full N.Korea control and rigidly enforce the rules then we'll accept that your post isn't a diatribe of self-serving snivelling but rather a desire for stricter moderation for all and not just for the punters that you have taken a dislike to - just let us know but I fear you won't be the most popular minnow in the pond. As it stands one punter has his own set of rules tailor-made to cope with his brand of derailing noms but perhaps you would like us to crack down hard on Rule 7? Please advise.

Given the way you've embellished the facts with regards to the Onasanya case I know exactly what your saying. My experience with the lack of police even-handedness is limited to my anti-hunt monitoring and sabbing but not wishing to diminish your twenty years experience of "unofficial guideline feedback" the stats with regards to the ratio of police cautions/prosecutions by race simply do not back your assertions. That said, there does appear to be increasing activity by certain police forces to monitor "thought crime" on social media but how this translates to street crime has yet to be quantified.
  23. Actually, there is an element of truth behind this with most of the newbies lately. With one or two notable exceptions, new accounts have identified the site's whipping boys and have quickly put the boot in with unseemly haste. Its all a bit cowardly...
