He used to do wind up calls that were a fucking scream. He got into trouble, when some woman was threatening to jump off a bridge on the M62 motorway he decided to play 'Jump' by Van Halen. Someone stuck in the traffic jam it was causing turned his radio up so she could hear it. She jumped. He replaced Chris Evans on the breakfast show and within a week gained 350,000 new listeners.
