Cuntybaws Posted March 31, 2019 Report Share Posted March 31, 2019 “Beto” is apparently a nickname sometimes given to Hispanic children whose name ends in “berto” to distinguish them from all the other Albertos, Norbertos and Humbertos in the family. Quite why it was bestowed upon Robert Francis O’Rourke (son of Pat Francis O’Rourke, a local politician who traded on his Irish roots) is a mystery to me. A bigger mystery is why he persists in using it to this day, in heavily-Hispanic El Paso. Perhaps he’s an opportunistic vote-seeking cunt?
