The 'suage' line is the prominent ridge that locates your thumb just below the safety, on the Webley pistols anyway. Makes it fucking awkward to hold left-handed.

Ape's got a Webley Tempest. So have I but I had to replace the grips with flat wooden ones. Webley put a thumb suage on one side... because they're prejudiced against left handed people.

I had a Webley Vulcan. Twangy, too much recoil, too heavy... I fucking loved it when I was 14.

Don't do it with a decent air rifle. Once you put diesel in it, it will smoke for about 25 shots afterwards.

Just ream out the transfer port about 0.7 mm, and put a couple of drops of diesel in the cylinder after you've cocked it.. Compression ignition is a wonderful thing.
