Later - Oh goody it's referendum day, let's listen to the news and confirm the results- "This is the BBC, Britian has voted to leave the European union", OMG no, no no, whats gone wrong, I'm European not British oh no boo hoo, the fucking racists have brought disaster on the country boo hoo. I can't believe it boo hoo. It cant be true, I go on holiday to France and now I won't be able to anymore boo hoo. We won't be able to get our Bleu D'auvergne from tescos anymore it's just a disaster, oh noo.

He was convinced he couldn't lose and both they and UKIP could go and play with themselves once Brexit was soundly rejected. He screwed up big time.

Outside of media land I think they would be a bit calmer. I know leavers who knew exactly why they were voting leave, they were well informed and not doing it to stick one over on Cameron or because they did not want any more foreigners. I respect leave votes cast for sovereignty issues over the political expansion of european power over national governments and similar.

The EU is dead, has been for some time.  Like most pseudo-govt organisations, it got far too wieldy and thought itself immune.  The EU has never liked us, (that's not a WWII shitty comment so fuck off Decs), they tolerate us and snigger to each other behind our backs.  Their leader has openly told members to not speak to us outside the EU meetings under any circumstances, even though they have no right to do that, canvassing opinions and support is, was and always will be part of politics and negotiations.  If that cunt thinks he's going to rule everyone how he likes, he'll get a shock when they tell him one by one to fuck off, the French will, the Italians will, the Spanish will ignore him, the Portugese will talk to us openly, the eastern EU will talk to us vary warily knowing the wrong move could fuck our relations over with them for good or bad for both of us.
