My feeling is that anyone who wants to harm the country or its people should be dharged with treason in addition to any crimes, have any rights to nationality or residency revoked and on release, be deported to a country of their choice, no appeals and no right to ever return. That would only be my second option after execution. If they want martyrs, I would give them so  them.many that they couldn't count them, let alone name them.
