A video shared on social media shows a cardboard model of the tower being set alight by a laughing crowd. Theresa May tweeted : "To disrespect those who lost their lives at Grenfell Tower, as well as their families and loved ones, is utterly unacceptable." Scotland Yard said the Grenfell Tower investigation team is making inquiries. Housing Secretary James Brokenshire said the group's actions were "beneath contempt". Where is the 15 minute peice to camera and in depth investigative journalism into the councilors, who cut corners and budgets to build such a fire hazard, where is the story on which fire officers let such buildings get building regs sign off as “safe” to live in. Where is the in depth review of kingspan cladding and their products. It’s all gone very quiet and no senior figures have or ever will be brought to justice. BUT. A couple of kids have a bonfire night joke and it’s a full fucking front page story and main news item. fake news to blur the real issue of the actual event being brushed under a very charred carpet.
