That's quite enough of a worldwide pandemic and a dead black criminal hogging all the fucking headlines. Time to resurrect this old goto headline of British journalism as the McCanns are getting terribly tired of this lockdown and the absence of a spotlight on their predicament which after all they didn't bring upon themselves when they left their children asleep unattended in what is commonly know as the paedo capital of Europe.

I see the bar tab for the Met’s Holiday Club is getting back up to critical again, so a press release on Operation Grange notepaper gets faxed off to London naming a random German nonce as a new suspect and it gets lapped up. If only Fat Bob, a disgrace to his Hendon tie, had hit double top on the office dartboard instead then they could’ve gone back to blaming Clement Freud and demanded another £5M to carry on in the sun till they all retire. With Priti Vacant in the Home Office hotseat, I imagine they’ll get whatever fag-packet figure they ask for to keep them all in golf balls and tapas for a while yet. There’s more chance of Punky joining the Orange Order than there is Plod cracking this case. Joke.

So, they throw this paedo cunt to the wolves = no more money or, he's released because lack of evidence = more money and more  golf in the Algarve. It's a conundrum ain't it?

Something interesting about this is that he could end up being tried in Germany due to their extradition laws. The krauts have a habit of refusing EU arrest warrants if the defendants counsel can provide sufficient evidence that the investigation in the local jurisdiction was botched and his human rights might be violated. Count one is pretty much a foregone conclusion in my book.

Whatever you think of the McCanns they have marvellous lawyers - this year they found Gerry a new role as a 'lecturing professor'. That's very rare you know.

The evidence is circumstantial at best. No evidence has ever been provided that there was a break in. They said they left the apartment locked and then when the cops said there was no evidence of a break in the Mccanns changed their minds and said they left it unlocked.

If this does go to trial in Germany, I find it unlikely that our Teutonic cousins will tolerate the slanderous antics of the McCann PR machine that has pulled every stunt in the book to divert suspicion away from them and onto just about every male who happened to be in Praia da luz at the time. The German courts place the defendants rights above all else due to past dalliances with Nazi and Communist style justice. If there are any questions about the McCann's conduct, it will be painstakingly explored in minute detail. Perhaps we might finally get to the bottom of why Kate McCann's hand luggage contained a shitload of prescription sedatives.
