It's imperative to set the mood in your sleeping quarters if you're in need of a nap.  Eating a banana whilst inhaling oil of lavender and sipping a cup of Camomile Tea is of no use whatsoever, and ear-plugs are nothing more than a sales gimmick. 

What you need, is to go Buddhist, which is not as difficult as you may think: Light a candle; Shave your head; Shut your eyes, breath deeply and remain focused to the soothing-sound of ambient music, and with practice you will never have to worry about sleeping ever again.
