Indeed, compare and contrast an octogenarian President tripping over a sandbag to a middle-aged N.Irish proddy blowhard of limited intellect, no teeth and paunch who repeatedly trips head first into a vat of dried egg powder...

Surely you can’t blame me for wondering why Moderna’s experimental concoction was being given emergency use authorisation, immunity from all civil damage liability and tens of billions of dollars worth of top secret supply contracts, considering that Moderna had never brought a vaccine or even more strangely any medicinal product at all to market anywhere on Earth?

Perfectly normal I suppose? 💉😘
Stay warm.

Perfectly normal to wonder if your nonsense was true. The fully approved Covid vaccine was not Moderna's first rodeo, it does not have immunity from all civil damage liability, and didn't earn "tens of billions of dollars of top secret contracts" otherwise you're spot on 👍

I’m glad you’ve brought this up  as it once again reveals your stupidity and stubborn refusal to actually know what you’re talking about before opening your gob.
The ‘WHO pandemic preparedness treaty’ which was due to be finalised last June, but delayed due to the inconvenient objections of a few brave African leaders (How dare they!) is being further negotiated later this month, with the final draft published in early 2024 for rubber stamping, sorry ratification by all the so called sovereign governments involved and incorporated into the legally binding  International Health Regulations.
Despite the assurances of ministers that they would never allow national sovereignty to be overridden by the WHO the question is really ‘Why would our government feel it’s a good idea to be a signatory to something which gives the totally corrupt and unaccountable WHO, whose track record in dealing with health emergencies is abysmal, never mind the fact that they are undeniably in the pocket of the CCP? Remember Tedros told us all that Covid 19 wasn’t transmissible from human to human? Or when he then told us that it was but wearing a mask wouldn’t help, but then told us to all wear a mask, and that Covid 19 did not originate from the Wuhan Lab, then that it most likely did? Or when he told us all that the Chinese had done a fantastic job in controlling the spread of the batflu by locking down/imprisoning millions of people which he knew to be total BS, yet recommended the rest of the world to follow suit, unnecessarily and I would say intentionally causing the inevitable total collapse of the world economy? I could go on but I’m sure you must agree that giving even more power to this unaccountable cabal, especially those at the top of it who by the way have the added benefit of UN diplomatic immunity can’t be a good idea?

The current draft of the amendments to the IHR should be enough for even you to question.

(1) amendments to the 2005 IHR and

(2) a pandemic treaty termed ‘CA+’ by the WHO (the treaty).

Whereas to date the WHO has been empowered to issue recommendations, the proposed updates would empower the WHO to give legally binding directions, effective at the level of individual states, regionally or globally to….

1. mandate financial contributions to fund pandemic response activities.

2. require the surrender of intellectual property and technologies.

3. mandate the manufacture and international sharing of vaccines and other health products capable of ‘improving quality of life’.

4. override national safety approval processes for vaccines, gene based therapies, medical devices and diagnostics.

5. require citizens to disclose their medical status.

6. forcibly quarantine and prevent citizens from travelling.

7. medically examine, inject or otherwise medicate citizens.

There’s lots more but I’m sure that if you’ve read this far you will already be typing out your usual ‘You’re an idiot, there’s nothing to see here etc. etc.’ nonsense.
Don’t bother though, just do everyone a favour and fuck off instead. Stay warm 😘

So the event on 22nd May 2022 as predicted by you didn't happen then?

As for your pile of steaming ordure here is The actual Zero draft of what you pretend to know about but clearly have not read which once again reveals your stupidity and stubborn refusal to actually know what you're talking about before opening your gob. Still "glad [I've] bought this up"?

Please, pretty please - where on this document is anything that resembles your piece of abject falsehoods? I won't bore the puntership senseless with a blow by blow dismantling of your post but I'll give one example of your idiocy, namely point 2, "require the surrender of intellectual property and technologies." In fact the document acknowledges and reaffirms the TRIPS agreement (Part of the WTO regulations that cover copyrights, patents and intellectual property).

Clearly you have done your thing about railing against MSN yet blindly accept any old bollox uploaded by Sid Slackjaw of Shitsville, USA. You just don't learn from past mistakes. Insane.

It makes your admonition to "stay warm" look very silly, you utter plonker spastic.

Oh yeah, stay warm.

But ‘Whoa there Calamity Jane’. Before you start creaming your XXXXL Tena pants, lubricating your saddlebags and jumping up and down shouting ‘distributed, you thicko!’ it goes on to say ‘In contrast to pharma giant Pfizer inc., it’s closest US rival in the race for a Covid shot, the biotech has no other marketed products and has never had to build out distribution channels for a medicine.
Perhaps you might find the time to inform Wikipedia too that Spikevax wasn’t Moderna’s ‘first rodeo’ and let them know which other products Moderna had previously brought to market?
Apart from that and all the rest of the puerile nonsense you’re absolutely spot on as usual. 👍

...and yet not a peep out of you about the destruction your seven-point fairy tale concerning the WHO assuming executive powers from 194 willing and compliant nations? Nor was there any defence of the lies spewed by you for the past couple of years? Instead you scrape the gotcha barrel by hanging your thimble-sized hat on some spurious inference about distribution.

Clearly you have no idea how modern business and manufacturing works. Moderna is essentially a commercial research entity. The business makes its money by monetising it's intellectual properties and patents. Formed in 2010 they initially did research work for the larger pharmas e.g Astra Zeneca and Merk. Their reputation in mRNA development and application grew to the extent that they easily obtained $600+ million when the firm went public. On the strength of Moderna's first product, a mRNA vaccine for influenza, they received a further billion from a public-private partnership to develop a covid 19 vaccine and a further $5 billion from the US govt to produce the vaccine on an industrial scale. Moderna outsourced the manufacturing to Lonza - nothing wrong with that, Lonza have similar contracts with GlaxoSmithKline. I presume that had you known this you would have refused your dentist's prescription for Amoxil to deal with the infections caused by rotting teeth - you certainly never used Aquafresh, another GSK product.

Outsourcing manufacturing and distribution is standard practise these days. No doubt when trundling down the motorways in your employer's Sherpa van you've noticed a Kellogg's artic overtake you. The lorry is owned by TDG, who handles Kellogg's logistics and distribution.

It appears you have outsourced your critical thinking, opinion development and fact-finding to the Slackjaw News Service and should chose a more reliable source.

Drop the anti-vax thing - its a complex subject waaay beyond your cerebral abilities. I think you said you were an expert on all things American especially the politics so perhaps you could give us your take on how Sleepy Joe Biden, in between naps and falling over, completely out-manoeuvred the GOP on the hoo-ha apropos the debt ceiling and budget. Try not to run to Sid Slackjaw for advice - he has only double the brain cells you have.

Absolutely brilliant as usual. I’m totally in awe of your unequalled ability to forensically debunk the deranged rantings of a ‘thicko’ like me, and even more impressed that you deem my output of what is clearly dis and misinformation worthy of your highly valuable time.
But there’s one little problem (obviously an unintentional error on your part, which must happen from time to time when   you’re furiously ‘fact-checking’ ) I noticed in your smug self superior (sorry consistent) reply above, which I feel I must point out to you, as I know you would never make anything up thinking you know better than a fool like me.

When you said ‘On the strength of Moderna’s first product, a mRNA vaccine for influenza’ were you referencing the ‘mRNA-1010’ seasonal influenza vaccine? I assume you were as you’re not the smartest biscuit in the box, and would that also be the same product which in mid April this year was still in ongoing stage 3 trials? The same product which Moderna themselves stated in April ‘hasn’t been able to prove success in an interim analysis of the ongoing stage 3 trial and did not meet the statistical threshold necessary to declare early success’, causing a 6.45% overnight drop in the share price?

Just asking. Stay stupid.🤣😘

Still grubbing around for crumbs from the 'gotcha' barrel I see...

Billy, what have I previously told you? I told you that this is a subject too complex for a man of your obviously limited abilities and that you should drop it. I also said that you don't learn from past mistakes. I'll come back to this in a minute.

The answer to your question is no. The first product was mRNA-1440 which specifically targeted Influenza type A, sub-type H10N8. Let me explain in the broadest terms possible so that even a half-wit will understand; Seasonal influenza has always been problematic not only for pharma developers but also for public health authorities who are responsible for deciding which type of vaccine to order months in advance based on best guesstimate as to which variant of influenza will hit the populace come winter. Seasonal influenza vaccination programmes are essentially an exercise in catch-up which explains why in some winters the influenza death rate spikes despite a comprehensive vaccine roll-out to designated vulnerable people. There are four types of influenza - types A, B, C & D. Each type are sub-divided into strains. The answer is to inoculate with bivalent, or even better, with quadrivalent vaccines which cover several (best guess) anticipated variants in one shot. These are already available with the traditional range of vaccines but mRNA shots, with its statistically proven safety record and much lower rejection rates, is preferred. Fast forward a decade and we have all the major players in a race to develop not only a quadrivalent Seasonal Influenza vaccine but a vaccine that combines an influenza prophylactic which also deals with whatever version of covid is currently prevalent. Your story, which you seem to creaming yourself over is about Moderna's prospective bivalent Seasonal Influenza vaccine which has hit a snag in Phase 3 trials with the Type 'B' virus.

Billy, yet again you found a highly localised story and have used it totally without context. Your tiny mind not only tries to use the story to define the anti-vax position but also attempts to validate all the bollox you've spewed out for the past 2-3 years.

"Stay stupid" indeed.

Stick to subjects you fully understand Panzertanky. Obviously that excludes everything except potato’s, wellies, smearing yourself in shite and slurping The Vulcan's bumhole, instead of eating your dinner up like the good little simpleton which against all expectations you’ve worked very hard to become.

It seems to me that you’re becoming more and more obsessed with me with every day that passes. Whilst I do find this approach ever so slightly flattering, I feel it’s my duty to make it 97% clear to you that you’ve currently got no more than a 3% chance of realising the sexual fantasies which are undoubtedly the root cause of your embarrassing behaviour.
Keep dreaming. 😘
