Do you think that the unions that represent university lecturers, teachers, doctors and nurses have no understanding of the economics of their positions? All those thick  university lecturers, teachers, doctors and nurses haven't got a clue have they?

I was referring to the "Blue Collar" trade unionists, those that fucked us up in over the years by demanding wage levels that were unsustainable to their employers not professional bodies and organisations which although left leaning are by no means quite so marxist.

Fuck me! That was Arthur Scargill and the British Leyland union cunts over 40 years ago, we've all moved on since then.

And we could move back there quickly too.

This country doesn't need apologists like you offering support and understanding to Corbyns Union acolytes.

You're a fucking disgrace.

Funny how so many dyed in the wool tories are concerned about Corbyn's policies when he stands virtually no chances of being Prime Minister.

Striking is wrong and immoral when essential services are at risk.

The Tube is not an essential service, you moron.

They could do what I mentioned by not taking fares that will hurt the employer and not the commuters but they have the right to withhold their labour whether you agree with it or not, that's just a fact and something that makes your opinion irrelevant and moot.

If they did that, they could be sacked on the spot with no comeback at all, not really a clever move on anyones part.

But it's London.

If the tube doesn't work then the buses are fucked, overland trains are full and there's nowhere to park your car even if you had umpteen hours spare to drive it in and out.

The strickers have a disproportionate amount of power and that should be removed.Just as was done to the petrol tanker mob.

Don't go to/live in London, problem solved.

From my understanding this latest strike has nothing to do with the employee's personal financial gain and all to do with cutting staff on an already outdated and antiquated system that''s seeing and increase passengers. The fare paying passengers and the staff deserve better than what TFL's intentions are so you should be supporting the strikers instead of undermining them.

The times I've been on the Tube, I've never seen one single fucking problem with it, it is cheap, fast, user friendly and expansive.  Most of the commuter whinging shit is the Me Me Me types, they have probably the best public transport services in the country, and the cost of their oystercard, season ticekt etc is far less than most other peoples transport costs.

They need to stop fucking whining.

I don't have a problem with MP's having second in comes so long as they're doing the job they were elected to do properly. They also have to have something to fall back on in the event that they are not elected again so it kind of makes sense to keep a foot in the door of a job.

Have you seen their "redundancy" payout and expenses? It's fucking huge!

I've met loads of all of those except teachers, and yes I agree most of them don't have a fucking clue.

Everyone complains about the NHS pen-pushers etc, but they are needed, the professors and other clever cunts do not have a clue about the real world and organisation, they are absolutely fantastic at their specialist subject but fucking hell they have no common sense, none at all.

Poor Jeremy. The Tories will continue to malign him (though not too brutally) as this will continue to validate his existence and motivate the Corbynistas to support him, at the same time mainstream Labour will be further vexed into undermining him leading to continual disarray on their part. Its the Labour Party's own fault for playing fast and loose with the Leadership nomination count at the outset.

Ed Miliband's legacy. It almost makes his "Ed Stone" look like a good idea by comparison.

Arthur C Clarke saw that  'Ed Stone' thing coming when he wrote 2001. He just failed to predict that the 'Monolith' would be conceived by Hominids rather than merely discovered by them.

I fucking hate Corbyn. He's a naive little man who thinks the entire world will change the way it works to suit his own ideals. I just don't like the look of him either. He's a weird potato faced beady eyed bastard who looks like he'd be breaking into the woman's changing rooms at midnight for the sole purpose of licking the benches and jizzing in the sinks if he wasn't working as the figurehead of the Labour party. Genuinely nasty little man.

I don't hate the cunt but on the other hand I wouldn't donate a kidney or any of my bone marrow if he needed it, a bunch of grapes and a ''get well soon"" card maybe but that's it.

It's not one of my favourites. The ending was shite, and Leonard Rossiter was a strange bit of casting.

Gyps is right. It was the most overrated piece of shit that's ever been called Sci fi. Long boring shots of fuck all happening and a plot that tries too hard to come off as edgy and intellectual that it just ends up boring and weird. It's an excuse for film critics to flex their tongues pratting on about how it's some deep cinematic experience and if wasn't made by Kubrick it would already have been forgotten.

Pile o shit, basically.

Absolute arsewank, the pair of you. I'll grant you, some bits are shit, but they're far outweighed by its many episodes of sublime brilliance.

Actually, there aren't that many such episodes now that I think about it. Probably only two or three. And they're more "moments" than "episodes". Fuck it, you're right, it's shit.

The book is fucking great, though, and I don't want to hear any arguments to the contrary.

It is better than the film. Do you have books up there? I thought that the libraries were just places where you could borrow VHS box sets of 'when the boat comes in', 'the likely lads', and 'auf weidershein pet'

What the hell are you on about? VHS?

It's all Laser Disk these days, mate.

I remember them! At school all the kids in my year had to map out part of the local area for 'The Domesday Project', all the info was put on 12 inch laserdiscs. I dunno if it still exists. Cuntybaws would probably know.
